Staff was very friendly and helpful. Very apologetic when the fire alarm randomly went off middle of the night. Had a slight heating issue but was remedied quickly. Location is fantastic! Room comfy and clean :-)

Food was good and very reasonably priced. Staff were very friendly. Chocs and bottled water in the room which was a lovely touch.

Bus stop outside hotel Is a great asset as bus travel is very cheap and easy around dublin..
Had to ask for tea/ coffee to be replenished after the first night and bed making skills of the maid left a bit to be desired as they didn't straighten the bottom sheet of the bed.
Guinness storehouse is superb and Punchestown horse racing was very good too.
Buskers bar in the temple bar area had great live acts on a day everyday ax well as showing all sports downstairs. We had premier league footy , rugby and fq all on at the same time.
Temple bar area of town is buzzing all of the time

I had stayed in this hotel in the past.
I had stayed in this hotel in the past. Location is good if you want to get on the N6 but it is in need of updating. To be fair, work has commenced but needs to continue. Staff were fabulous and helpful but some areas need up grade. Breakfast ok but could be more varied. Rooms very clean but part of hotel very dated. I look forward to returning when work completed.

Lucan is a beautiful place for a holiday...
Lucan is a beautiful place for a holiday... Lovely village by the river with friendly people, cute cafés, restaurants, artisan bakery, fruit and veg shop, Centra shop, amazing park (St. Catherine's) and walks, very central. All Dublin tourist attractions within half an hour's drive. Plenty to do whatever the weather and whatever you are interested in.

Beautiful house, set in a wonderfully picturesque garden close to Lucan. The room was very comfortable with a great bed and good shower/bath. Great having access to the shared kitchen which saved us some money not having to eat out every night. The host is also lovely and it is great to see the work being done on the outbuildings which will when done be a stunning addition.
This property is female only. Usually I stay in hotels, but spotted this bedroom for a reasonable price per night and that property be only for females. I had to travel for work and need a place to sleep only. I am really pleased with the room I had, a comfortable bed, nice and clean facilities, location, no distraction.
Would recommend.
The staff and food were very nice but the bed was disgraceful. It dipped down in the middle and myself and my husbands back was in terrible pain for days afterwards I emailed the hotel to complain and I never received a response. Would not recommend to anybody.
The only good thing I can say about the Lucan Spa is that the wings were probably the best I have had. I have no complaints against the staff either, very polite.
