Initially looking for a place near Galway.
Initially looking for a place near Galway. The website seemed to suggest that the accommodation was within a reasonable distance. It took us another 40 mins to get there after passing through Galway, so somewhat disappointed. Nothing at the accommodation within walking distance apart from stunning views and very warm, friendly hosts. The nearest places for dinner were Moycullen or Oughterad. We went to the latter, a 20+ minute drive through narrow country lanes… well aren’t they all? Lovely meal at the Powers Thatch. Friendly, welcoming people. All in all, missed out on Galway but had a very relaxing evening back at the accommodation watching the sun set. Beautiful.Guest review byTiger 32Australia

They do offer a breakfast at an additional charge which was a nice surprise since we arrived late and did not want to think about finding breakfast in the morning.
