Boasting a 21-yard swimming pool, a spa bath and a steam room, this 4-star hotel is just 10 minutes’ drive from Dublin Airport.

The Grand Hotel is beautiful; we were warmly greeted and the location was excellent. We were able to talk to the village for dinner, as well as to the Malahide Castle about a mile away.

Malahide was a delightful small village and we were able to walk to the village for 2 wonderful dinner meals and shopping. We walked to the castle about a mile away and did a guided tour, which was exceptional.

Malahide is a fantastic little beach town with great access to Dublin City via The Dart train, right in town. The most fun music bars, many lovely restaurants are all within walking distance. A beautiful beach nearby to take a stroll on. Malahide Castle is a 5 minute walk from the town center. The castle stands on beautiful grounds with Avoca shop and cafe for some local artist retail therapy and a nice cup of tea. Can’t go wrong in Malahide.

Malahide is a great spot in Ireland. Walkable, great pubs (especially Gibney's) and lovely restauarnts - especially nice Italian! If you want the gossip - go to Gibney's early in the day and chat wth the bartenders, you will soon find out what is ahppening in the area... Good fun.

The village is quite pretty with many old houses.

The village is quite pretty with many old houses. It is clean but in August quite busy. Traffic can be slow moving through the town. The beach was disappointing but Portmarnock beach a couple of miles south is very good. There are many restaurants which provide a variety of choice although there is a preponderance of Italian dishes. The views out to sea are good and walking around the town is interesting.

We stayed there for a concert in Malahide Castle. It was only a couple of minutes walk from the property which was brilliant. Lovely staff that greeted us upon arrival. Warm cosy rooms, sitting room was there for us to relax in before the concert. They even provided us with ponchos for the concert incase it was raining. Perfect for the nights stay.

It was the perfect place to end my trip to Ireland on a good note ! It was exactly what I was looking for and everything I could possibly ask for. It was clean, comfortable and calm. Only a few minutes away from the beach and the village. Very nice neighborhood. Light breakfast and snacks included. Loved it ! :)
