In the heart of Mullingar town, this hotel with a bar and restaurant offers a home-from-home environment. Local attractions include Belvedere House and Gardens, golf and Mullingar Greyhound Stadium.

I found the bar staff were not very pleasant, chatting to each other while I waited to get served 🙃

Situated in Mullingar and only 5.4 km from Mullingar Arts Centre, Studio apartment to rent features accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking.

It's great little house with everything you may need, Karl was really nice and welcoming and we want to thank him for his accomodation. It's very well insulated house because we didn't use the heating for 2 days and night and it was still warm inside and car was frozen up yesterday morning. Also we want to thank Karl for milk, beer and soft drinks which we enjoyed 👌❤️

If the weather is good go to Belvedere House for a walk and coffee. It's so lovely and peaceful at the lake. In the town there's plenty to check out. We had a brunch in Bellys which was lovely and then headed to Montogmerys whiskey bar - just a cosy little spot. There's a sweet shop just near it and there was all sorts of treats on offer!!

The highlight for us was the old rail greenway. Local bike hire was great and the ability to ride for miles through the beautiful midlands countryside with no cars was a real treat. Nice sized small town with very friendly people. Belvedere house and gardens was a nice spot for a sunny day but a bit pricey if you have a bigger family. Town itself was easy to explore on foot and the canal side walks were lovely. We only had two days here with one day geared towards cycling the greenway but that is about right.

Excellent location for our needs. Breakfast was ample with fresh hot and cold options. Staff very helpful and friendly. Nice bar area, live music, car parking validated by hotel and a balcony that overlooked a little park. We were able to access our room a little earlier than check in time. This is our second time to stay there and we were just as happy second time round. We plan to go back. Would recommend.

Had a lovely stay here. It's a beautiful old building and i didnt realise that. I think more should be written/told about the history of this glorious building. The bar nextdoor (attached to the hotel) was amazing Steve the barman very friendly. Brilliantly placed in the centre of town. Free carpark a bonus. Overall a good stay.
