The rooms were so clean! The facility was great, very spacious. The grounds are amazing. The kids loved the pigs and we all plan to return here some time for a longer stay. Ideal location, close to Emerald Parc and excellent value for money. No hassle with check-in and staff were very friendly to help return a forgotten item.

The house was spacious, clean and beautifuly decorated, the keepers were very helpful with a couple of issues and we had everything we needed on site. Groceries shop was a short walk away and really lovely local pub nearby. They also were able to accommodate a slightly earlier checking which was helpful after a very early flight! It was lovely to stay in such a lovely location with friends and I look forward to coming back and would recommend the place for any group looking to stay in the area

The friendliness ambience of the place and old coach inn.
The friendliness ambience of the place and old coach inn. The hospitality received from the management and staff ___ really brilliant in this quaint old establishment.
The food was absolutely gorgeous --- never had such a magnificent breakfast choice cooked in their kitchen.
We found it the ideal venue to allow plenty of time to explore and engage with Newgrange and the castles at Sl ane and Trim.

Although there are many historical sites, you need to pre-book some. I am a 'castle and distillery' person, so was disappointed that the castle was not open, unless you pre-booked "as a group"! The distillery website seems to be aimed at the US market, as when you access it asks for your 'state or zip code' and the only options are states in the US. Us 'brits' love your whiskey too, you know.
This though didn't stop us visiting other sites and filled our days easily.
It is surprising how little distance there is between places. The Frances Ledwiddge Museum; don't try to walk there as the pavement/sidewalk runs out and the traffic is fast! Battle of the Boyne Visitor centre, Melifont Abbey (Ruins) but much to see and the history!!! to mention just a few. Oh and the Newgrange Burial Mounds you MUST prebook, believe there is a month waiting list!

We came to Slane from the UK for a family wedding and were looking forward to visiting the area as well. However we were very unfortunate with our choice of accommodation and it became essential for us to find an alternative after one night. The help and care given by the staff of The Conyngham Arms Hotel who came to the rescue of four desperately unhappy elderly visitors to Slane was exceptional. Following a very distressing experience with the owner of a local B&B in Slane, namely Forest Hills Lodge (a H&S nightmare) the staff at the Conyngham Arms were all, without exception, the best examples of true Irish Hospitality and restored our spirits so we could enjoy the wedding and the rest of our stay in Ireland. We couldn't thank them enough and would definitely recommend this hotel.

lovely place, perfect for a visit to Boyne Valley because it’s in its middle , near Brú na Boinne and all other attractions. AndI was lucky to run into Gerry, a very nice taxi driver who took me everywhere for a fair price. Ask at the Tourist information office, where people are very helpful too.
