With a swimming pool, gym, and Essence Spa, the modern Clayton Hotel & Leisure Club Sligo is 5 minutes’ drive from Sligo’s centre. Guests can enjoy free WiFi throughout the property.

The room was spacious and warm and the beds were comfortable. The building is interesting - an old hospital for the mentally ill that has been converted. The staff seemed helpful. It was quiet and there is plenty of parking.

The Castle Dargan estate is set snugly in 170 acres of mature woodlands with unrivalled scenery.

We liked the rural setting. It is very peaceful. The golf course looks challenging. The staff were very pleasant. The room was large with a very comfortable bed.

A lovely small town, right beside a very affluent river, and with lots of pubs and restaurants with old and new character. Locals are super friendly and their local food and beers are delicious! A bonus point is that one can relax and feel safe and socially included while travelling solo!! And the top of the cherry is their Live Festival at the end of October!!!

Was only a short overnight (Sunday) stay so did not see that much of the town - purpose of our visit was to attend a music show in the Hawk's Well Theatre which was excellent, both the show and the theatre. Ate in the hotel we stayed in, town centre is easy to get around and nothing comes to mind to avoid on next visit.

The hotel is very nice, there is a private balcony outside the room. I wish we had a better weather while we were there. Easy walk to the beach and restaurants, actually there is a good restaurant next door. The room was bigger than other hotel rooms. Very good coffee and tea station with everything that you might need in the room. The bathroom and the shower were great. In the lobby they have all the information for the beautiful hikes that you can take in the area. I will recommend this hotel without any hesitation. Check in and check out was very fast.

Even though I live in the same province, there was so much I didn't know about Sligo. It's a hidden gem. We ate at Honestly in Strandhill (great food) and at Bianconis in Sligo town - also great grub. Lots of megalithic tombs to see. Spectacularly beautiful e.g. Horseshoe drive.

The Radisson in Sligo is a safe choice. Spacious rooms, friendly staff, good bar and restaurant with the best kids menu we found on our Ireland road trip. Is it an exceptional hotel when you compare it with other hotels around the world? No… But it is a great choice in the region and a recommendation when you get a good deal!

We have stayed at the Glasshouse Hotel on a number of previous occasions. It is always very comfortable. The staff are friendly, the food is great but the best thing about it is the location, right in the heart of Sligo city centre. It overlooks the river, which provides a lovely outlook from the hotel.

The hotel is bright. The location is peaceful. It is very relaxing. Whilst you are in the countryside, Sligo city centre and lovely coastal places like Strandhill and Rosses Point are within a 10-15 minute drive away. Breakfast was also a highlight, delicious perfectly cooked food.

I when going to Sligo, always go to the Sligo Southern Hotel, as it's central to both bus and train stations, it's central to town, with all amenities a stones throw away. I find staying here, it's home from home., and I will continue to come here again and again.
