Ideally situated in the city center of Sligo, The Address Sligo is next to O'Connell Street, which offers extensive shopping, riverside restaurants, and cozy bars.

The breakfast was good but I would appreciate a pot of tea instead of helping yourself to a small cup,

Amazing place. Local people are so nice, very helpful.

Amazing place. Local people are so nice, very helpful. I recommend to go to Knocknarea and Queen Maeve Trail, beautiful views and very peaceful place. Public transport works well if you want to go to Sligo city. But, for many attractions around Strandhill area would be better go with a car. The best ice cream I have ever tried in Ireland, Mammy Johnston's. Please don't miss that opportunity. The burger shack is amazing as well!

Strandhill is a nice small town with a very good surf spot.

Strandhill is a nice small town with a very good surf spot. But. Surf schools here work with beginners groups only. If you want to take an intermediate lesson or just rent a surfboard, you will be disappointed. Schools here can't provide it (at least now, in 2020). You can always come with your own surf board, but be careful and talk to local surfers about currents here, they are pretty strong. This is a beautiful place for long walks! Along the beach and to the hills. Take at least two days to walk around. You can find some unique natural and historical heritage here.
