From the outside the Magpie Bar has an attractive traditional appearance which is carried through into the main bar which is quirky and interesting. The rooms that we were allocated were actually in another building but were a good size, warm and reasonably comfortable.

The host, Johnny was very friendly and helpful. There was food provided if we wanted to cook a breakfast. Dog bowls, treat and a bed were provided for my dog.. The house is very warm and comfortable.
