We were attending a wedding in Kilshane House which was very close by so this is an excellent location for anyone attending a function there. The bed was very comfortable and breakfast was excellent. The host was very friendly and obliging. We would definitely recommend this accommodation.

Very accommodating, breakfast was lovely. No EV charger but did offer a plug option.
Baileys Hotel is a listed Georgian building located in the heart of Cashel town. It offers luxurious, refurbished rooms, fine dining, and views of The Rock of Cashel.
It was lovely. I hiked the Glengarra Wood to Lough Curra and went for a swim. Views were incredible, icey conditions as expected in November but with the right precautions it was just a wonderful day.

Visit to Tipperary Racecourse was brilliant (and always is).
Visit to Tipperary Racecourse was brilliant (and always is). It is a very family orientated course with friendly and happy people in a relaxed atmosphere. Even the Bookies are friendly! The Glen of Aherlow is beautiful and one of my favourite places in Ireland - The views from the statue of Christ the King are amazing!

Lots to see around Tipperary and makes for a good central location to explore Clare, Cork, Limerick and Galway all with easy reach.
Great food in Cashel (as well as the Rock) and Cahir is wonderful as are Nenagh and Clonmel.
Holycross is interesting, so much to see. Also and maybe most importantly, so many great coffee places (thumbs up).

Quite simply there is a dearth of accommodation in this part of Ireland. And pricing is optimistic and enthusiastic. It is difficult to think of any particular reason to visit unless you have a specific purpose in mind. I visited to advance genealogical research- with some success.

Visited a number of towns and villages around the hotel, unfortunately most of the places we visited had a lot of closed business. We also found it strange that a lot of businesses do not open on Mondays.
