I stayed at Sea Dew B&B in Tullamore during the Trad Festival in April 2025, and I was genuinely impressed. It was spotless from top to bottom.
The location was ideal, just a short walk into town, which made getting to and from the festival so convenient. Breakfast was both delicious and great value.
Overall, a really welcoming and well-run B&B. I’d absolutely recommend Sea Dew to anyone visiting Tullamore and will definitely be back myself!

We were welcomed with fresh scones, homemade jam and a bottle of their organic apple juice! After settling in we were treated to a walk around the farm that included a chance to stand in one of the two ancient ring forts in the pastures and have a glimpse at the burial mound. Got to chat about the cattle and the sheep as well. Plenty of food choices for breakfast and even had a taste of Irish field mushroom cooked the “traditional” way…in the microwave. Comfy beds and relaxing places to sit in the living room. A great start to our visit to Ireland.

There was a gorgeous Chinese restaurant witch me and my partner went to before the cinema.

The Sea Dew B&B was wonderful, as was dinner at the Italian restaurant, Mezzo. The Tullamore Dew Distillery Tour was amazing and a do not miss stop. Even if you’re not crazy about whiskey, the tour is educational and what beautiful setting!

Much effort by the shop keepers and owners of Tullamore.
Much effort by the shop keepers and owners of Tullamore. Flowers hanging outside of the premises etc.
The town is let down very badly by the town council as the footpaths are a disgrace. They have not been cleaned in a very long time, if ever.
The paths were black marked, sticky and disgusting.
These premises are paying rates and being let down badly.

There were 5 of us staying and we were treated like family.
There were 5 of us staying and we were treated like family. We enjoyed having a proper Irish breakfast served in our kitchen. And a wonderful full dinner along with the enjoyable host cooking and serving in the farm house. Marg would suggest places nearby to visit and tour. We even got to enjoy watching some of the DVD's that were available for our entertainment.

Shops don't all open on Sundays like other big towns.
Shops don't all open on Sundays like other big towns. We were there for a football match. Plenty of parking at the GAA ground.it was easy to get around the town and well sign posted. We got takeaway in McDonalds and it was great service.

A very tranquil place to stay especially given its location in a busy County town.
The Proprietor is welcoming and makes every effort to ensure that your stay is both comfortable and relaxing.
Very quiet, peaceful and relaxing beside the canal harbour and yet close to all the facilities that Tullamore has to offer.
A final bonus is that the Motorway is just 3minutes from the House.
Would definitely go back
We stayed for 2 nights upon arrival we were greeted by a lovely person called Olga. On 2nd night our little guy got sick on the bed and the same lady came with fresh linen straight away. Very clean and affordable accommodation with all facilities you would need. You can walk into Tullamore not that far. I would give this place 5/5 very pleased with it. Regards Daniel
Hotel was lovely. Staff were great and so friendly. Tullamore is great wee town, plenty of shops, restaurants and bars. Cinema and small shopping centre just across street. Breakfast was great, great service.
Great location, the property owners were perfect and easy to communicate with. The property was clean and had everything we needed. Would recommend to anyone staying in tullamore.
