The location is superb, we could walk our way to the restaurant or through the Artists Quarters. The room is well designed, the beds were comfortable and all in all - it was a good place to spend the time in, wether sipping tea on the balcony or enjoying some spare time in the private jacuzzi.

Safed is perfect. It has everything.

Safed is perfect. It has everything. A great mixture of ancient and modern. Breathtaking views. Great countryside. Facilities of a town. Restaurants. Takeaways. Shopping. Artist’s quarter. Wineries. Cheese making. Cafes. History. Architecture. Shall I go on?

Safed has the magic of serenity and spirituality in every corner. It’s in the buildings, nature, narrow streets, local shops, food, and people. It felt like an extension of Jerusalem. Driving in Safed is tough as the streets are narrow and sometimes there are two way roads which are too narrow for two cars. Parking in the city is tough. There are plenty of kosher restaurants in the city.

The first place in Israel, which itself introduced me to itself, led me. If you understand what I mean. Wonderful atmosphere, and in the old town, and in the colony of artists, and in the mountains in the vicinity. I will definitely come back, and definitely recommend to visit, and definitely for a few days.

I love the galleries with so many friendly artists excited to talk about their work. The residents were warm, friendly and chatty. The shuls, wineries and other sites were wonderful, interesting, varied and close to each other.

Safed is great, very easy to get around the Old City.

Safed is great, very easy to get around the Old City. We went to Rashbi in Meron, the horse stables and Techelet of Safed. I went to the Museum Meiri, tried hard to find the Museum of the Bible, with no success. Ate both days at Mendi's, food was good and tasty.

On one hand, full of history, mysticism, spirituality, and surrounded by much natural beauty. On the othe hand, the city doesn't seem to be very tourist oriented. E.g. all businesses closed from Friday noon until Sunday morning. With a bit of homework, Safed is totally worth a couple of days visit.

The hosts were amazing - so friendly and helpful, the property was simply gorgeous and the breakfasts were excellent. We loved walking around Tsfat and visiting all the best people and locations recommended by our hosts. 10/10 and a fantastic end to our stay in Israel, thanks Joy and Evan Yisrael for going out of your way to make us feel welcome and comfortable!

On the hill, nice setting and comfortable bed. The facility is a little old, otherwise, probably the best choice in Safad.
