It's a small coastal hamlet.
It's a small coastal hamlet. You must try the local cuisine at joints in the town like Salman among others. The beach is OK. Kashid beach, which is further south (~35km) is a better whiite sand beach Its a nice place to unwind over the weekend. Beach to chill and enjoy.
Beach to chill and enjoy. The water is not too clear and beach is a little crowded on weekends. But must for first timers. You can have a nice evening stroll and eat at stalls nearby. Colaba fort is just 10mins walk after a low tide in the evening. Varsoli beach is much cleaner and has a wider horizon to enjoy with a nice green trees view. Enjoy sunset there. Easy to reach from Mumbai.
Easy to reach from Mumbai. Green, tropical, beaches, silent and good. Away from city life. Casa Mae has good restaurant being pure vegetarian. The Deli is great place for food near Chondi bazaar. Terra by Sorentina is a good place too to visit for food. Restaurants by Flambyont- Fountain sizzler & boardwalk both are excellent joints for delicious food.Guest review byDivabhi29India
