Fabulous location and lovely comfortable service.
Good resort. Staffs are very friendly and polite, Renju, Dipin and Arvind😇 extraordinary services. Good quality of food. Kids enjoyed a lot in their play area. Neat and clean. Staff here are very good and cooperative. House keeping staff really good.
They have all the facilities and I strongly recommend to stay for families.
Stayed couple of nights in superior suite room. Availed Breakfast , lunch and Dinner plan. Food was good with handful of varieties. The property is located just 27kms from Cumbum and you can have evening and morning walk around the property.
The new night was awesome with fun filled events like Firecamp, BBQ, Picnic Area, Children's playing Area, Misty property and the entire night was literally a party night.
The food also very good but price is slightly high, But was a decent menu there as well.
The pavilion space and the restrooms near to that were at a different level. So tidy the place was beautiful.
Overall it was a very good and pleasant stay. Definitely worth it for the new year eve. 😊
Thank You *Renju, Dipin and Aravind* for providing wonderful experience.
Thanks & Regards,
Dhanesh..

We had a wonderful time here and the host was kind and humble to listen our requests and made it happen. He helped us in many ways to make the stay as our home.
Stay had all the needs for the kitchen utils. If you are ready to cook then this would be the first option of yours when choosing the property at ramakkalmedu. He helped us in showing the must view points there.
We also had a nearby Toddy shop where we had Kallu and tried few side dishes as well. So if you're planning for stay at Ramkkalmedu, close your eyes and book this. You won't be disappointed.

Excellent place of 3 Dams which together holds the water of Idukki reservoir. Two of the dams are just like walls and one of them have gates to control the water levels. The water is being utilized in hydro-electricity generation in the power plants.
Unfortunately you can not take any photo of the dams but from hill view park one can see 2 of the dams together.

Idukki is very scenic place of kerala.
Idukki is very scenic place of kerala. Lots of view points are there. Very suitable for photo shoots. I like to explore very much. Particularly I like Ramakkalmedu view point, chill climate and perfect view. I like all non veg meals there. Especially beef curry. Next time should avoid cab facilities. Should get own car for trip..that's a good way for exploring.
Finally we had good time with Idukki, I loved very much.❤️

Idukki is full of mountains and it is a perfect spot for hiking. Most of the spices and cocoa produced in Kerala are from idukki. People are quite friendly and welcoming. The weather is pleasant and the spicy aroma of the air is enchanting.

I stayed in Kumily, in Idukki district in April.
I stayed in Kumily, in Idukki district in April. The area has a massive jungle area, we trekked elephants and camped overnight. On a day trip trek we followed 11 elephants at reasonably close range. The area is lush and green with the most incredible trees, massive trees that must be thousands of years old. The food is outstanding, street food as well as restaurants with plenty veg options. I felt very safe as a solo traveler
