We enjoyed the Hospitality by the Host. The rooms are exceptionally clean and hygiene. The bathroom is clean and hygiene. The Bed and Mattress are comfortable and clean. Room size is decent. The Valley view from the room glass window is mesmerizing. The food is home made stuff.
The Host Kundan and Preeti and the Cook Deepak are down to earth human beings.
A location free from Noise pollution and accessible to anywhere in Jageshwar.
We adore the trek trail near by to Devi temple in the Cliff from this Property.
This earth or ground here is filled with abundance of Mica. So it is shining everywhere and feel Very different while we take a stroll here.

Absolutely gorgeous place. Ended up extending our trip. This is an area which has thankfully been untouched by rapid and vapid development. The views of Himalayas were amazing. The location is a 8 kms drive from Jageshwar and Vrid Jageshwar intersection. The road is well connected and drive is pleasurable.
I was looking for an off-beat quaint location and Kasar Devi( which I loved when I first went there a few years ago) seemed commercial.
At Kot Kailash we were welcomed by the nature. With the comforts of a boutique and cosy homestay. Also, we felt a personal touch at Kot Kailash. Had engaging conversations with Pushkar, who had been a wonderful host having an incredible Kumaoni knowledge which translated to yummy local food. ( Read- do not miss the local Kumaoni Dal or the Banofee Pie). His love for coffee meant you can always ask for one :). One of the days went for a nearby trail with Pushkar. Incidentally other guests also joined and it ended up being a good bond over travel, nature and sharing knowledge.
With a negligible AQI the location was spot on and we hope to revisit it sometime during the winters. Curious to see how the forest will look like in the snow :)

Please visit Kasar Devi temple. Claimed to be a Magnetic point and Visits of Highest scholars of the world. A Small Trek is required.

A mountain Cliff Devi temple nearby Gumakkad Stay. Not showing in Google. Maintained by one of Sadhu. A beautiful view of Himalayan range can be seen from here. Must be prepared for a 15 minutes Trek and 120 steps climb.
