It is a cozy hotel with a spectacular valley view and hearing the chanting from the monasteries nearby. It was an amazing spiritual experience. I especially enjoyed a lot chatting with the staff and hotel owner about the Tibetan story in the courtyard, I felt warm and connected like home. Sometimes it was fun to see the monkeys jumping around.

I stayed here several times n had a gteat stay. Budget friendly,located in middle of Macleodganj, conveniently located near main square, Dalai Rama Temple, many restaurant and shops. The owner is so kind. He gave me a lot of information i need and made me feel comfortable. There is a spacious restaurant and cafe on the rooftop, so you can enjoy a meal with a great mountain view without having to go far.

Location is very good as its near McLeodganj and walking distance from St John Church. Very serene atmosphere. Staff operating this hotel is very helpful and supportive. Extremely satisfied with their services and kindness towards guests.

I had a lovely stay, even though it was short. The host was incredibly kind, allowing me to check in early and check out late to accommodate my night bus schedule. The room was quiet, warm, impeccably clean, and beautifully maintained and decorated, with a stunning mountain view. The property also features a café/restaurant with delicious food, and the breakfast, especially the Tibetan bread, was very tasty. Chodon went above and beyond to help me arrange a cab for Gulla Temple, starting the Triund hike, and getting to the bus station. The location is perfect, with everything within walking distance. If I return to McLeod Ganj, I will definitely choose to stay here again.

Location of this hotel was misleading on map. The hotel is not located in town - it’s at the bottom of a steep hill.in order to arrive to the Dalay lama temple, you need to climb about 10 minutes and another 10 minutes climb to the center of town.there is no Ubber service and a taxi inside Maclud will cost 400 rupees fixed price from point to point. Staff were helpful. Room was big and clean.

This place is amazing! Quiet, clean, comfortable. Staff is lovely. Close enough to walk to everything but far enough that it’s peaceful and quiet. Can’t recommend this place enough.

I have been traveling throughout India for 7 months and stay at hotels nightly —-Tsering at the front desk is my one of my favorite front staff anywhere!! She is an absolute gem. She is genuinely friendly, kind, helpful and accommodating. I came back again now because she leaves such a great memory!

    It's a wonderful place, with varied cultural influences, from local culture, to Tibetan Buddhism to the bag packer culture of Dharamkot. It's a must-see region, if you like to hike and meet new people from different backgrounds.

    Very interesting and quite different from other places we’d visited in India. Breathtaking scenery with the backdrop of the snow capped mountains. Good opportunity to try some yoga at the fabulous yoga studio at Yoga House. Fascinating to find out more about Tibetan culture.

    It was my first visit. Local shops, some sightseeing. There was a lot of rain, but it was a good experience in the mountain rain. In this month, carry a raincoat. More comfortable than an umbrella. Take you time to enjoy the fresh air and the scenery.

    Extremely crowded in weekends, steep climbs on roads so better to book cab and roam around temperature was not that good as expected and as compared to plains. Rinkus cafe is a must visit for live music and good crowd in weekends. Not easy in car to roam around as there are traffic jams all around.

    I was staying in Bagsunag which is pretty relaxed snd easy to get around. It has good places to eat and nice stalls to buy from. It does not fell like India at all. Mcleodganj is busy and very touristy and pretty much blocked with traffic

    This is the most perfect place to relax and also enjoy nature treks, river, waterfall and local life. The view from the rooms and the rooftop are incredible. The owner is such a kind and friendly man, he has a tea shop opposite the guesthouse open most of the day serving a variety of food and drink. We had a delicious breakfast here most mornings with a unobstructed view of the mountain valley. Jonny the dog sometimes makes an appearance too. 1 hour nature walk into McLeod Ganj, the village of Naddi itself has plenty of shops and cafes.

    Location is excellent, staffs including owner are very courteous and helpful.Food was also very tasty . During our Triund trek, we lost our way while returning in the evening, Mr. Namgyal helped us a lot including sending a car to Gallu devi temple at night .We have no words to express our gratitude to him and also the person who guided my wife in last part of trek and drove us to the hotel.

    Great location in Bhagsu, lots of cafes and restaurants around and close to Bhagsu waterfall. About a 20 min walk to McLeod Ganj. Nish the manager was super helpful and friendly, lots of arranged things going on to join and meet other travellers. Really fun atmosphere, would definitely recommend to other solo travellers!
