Very disappointed in Rishikesh, it is completely geared up for international tourism, and this takes away the core spiritual journey you would expect from Rishikesh. It is considered one of the holiest places in India alongside, Varanasi, Somnath, Haridwar and some others, but my view as a Hindu is not positive for Rishikesh 2025.
