The hotel has a few positives, but there were several issues that made our stay less enjoyable. The location is quite noisy due to the road and due to lack of soundproof windows, which made it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. Cleanliness could also be improved—the the walls were very dirty, bedsheet had two holes, and the toilet was very slippery, which was a safety concern.
Breakfast was below average, nothing special, but overpriced. Not many choices on the menu and on top of that some of them were not available. The bedsheets had too much detergent, making them feel sticky, which was uncomfortable. Housekeeping service also needs improvement—when I requested an extra pillow, they initially brought one that was quite dirty and simply wanted to put a clean cover over it. I got a replacement when asked, but it raised concerns about their hygiene standards. We booked a room for 3, but the room was clearly for one person. They had only one cup for coffee. They offered a replacement room which was bigger but it didn't have any windows. In retrospect we regret not taking the windlowless room, probably would have been better for the sleep.
Overall, the hotel is okay but overpriced for what it offers. 4300 INR per night is not justifiable. With better maintenance and service, it could be a much better experience. They need to recruit more housekeeping staff.
