Pros: 1. Room was fairly new and bed reasonably comfortable 2. Just on the Guruvayur highway- still 45 mins drive to Guruvayur temple, bear in mind. Price reflects the same 3. 3 bed option available, reasonable price Cons: 1. Cleanliness was not great. We asked for a soiled blanket to be changed but no action was taken 2. Towels were missing, on asking it was never delivered as promised 3. No lifts - be prepared to walk uo stairs 4. Staff attitude left a lot to be desired . No one was available over night. They delivered nothing that was promised

    Traditionally the business center of the erstwhile Kingdom of Cochin, when in the 19th century Maharaja Rama Varma [Shaktan Thamuran] encouraged such activities. This ancient town conducts the Thrissur Pooram. Several ancient places of worship exist.

    It's a nice place.

    It's a nice place. Historical, fantastic temples and churches. It's getting difficult to get genuine Kerala food. The place is now festering with all kinds of weird Arabian food which invariably starts with Al-. The waste management in the city is a mess and large mosquitoes from that Shakthan market get everywhere spreading diseases.

    I couldn't stay at Trissur due to miss-management of Booking.com. Instead of enjoying the trip, me and my friend had to return home without attending the Pooram Festival due to non availability of a room at Trissur.

    I had to cancel my trip just because the hotel denied my...

    I had to cancel my trip just because the hotel denied my check in after reaching at location even after confirmation and advance payment. Booking.com could not help me to accommodate in any near by places. Had to rush to book my train tickets on same day and returned with cancelled trip. Very horrible experience.

    A delightful and cleverly built hotel which preserves the traditional frontage of the original house and also newly captures the breezes. It’s a great space. Breakfast was good and tasty and the staff very good. The owner is a charming and respectful and very generous person, his off-sider very helpful and very friendly. The location is great - v close to the maidan and hood restaurants.

    I have to tell only my difficulties. As planned I reached hotel, but they did not allow us to stay there at all. They never cared booking.com or oyo or ourselves and they told us to go back home as rooms are full. So we came back. We called oyo for help, but customer care did not help as hotel was not taking incoming calls.
