Room was booked with a credit card but when checking in they accepted cash only. I argued unsuccessfully but was told the manager would be there in the evening. He didn’t show either of the two days I was there. Room is very plain and not particularly clean. Big plastic jugs were left on the side of the cabin and not picked up. Room walls are water damaged and not very clean. Wi-Fi was spotty. There was hot water for a shower. I did not try the tv. Garden/lawn area is attractive enough and the views of the surrounding area are good. Breakfast buffet was ok, not great but satisfactory. The other meal, a La carte, were better and quite tasty.

    Location is great and is very near to main attractions like botanical garden and rose garden. Its a busy street so not recommended if you are specifically looking for a calm property away from the crowd. Facilities are clean and neat. Staff is exceptionally helpful

    Doddabetta peak was very interesting.

    Doddabetta peak was very interesting. So was the Botanical gardens. Boating in the lake had very few options. Only large motor boat and large canoe. Nothing in between. These boats we very large and expensive for the 3 of us.

    The climate of Ooty is amazing.

    The climate of Ooty is amazing. Having your own vehicle makes it easy to move around. Not a problem even if you dont- Rickshaws available, walking around the town is fun. Botanical garden, Karnataka garden are the famous gardens to visit. Can spend almost the whole day relaxing there. Tea and Chocolate factory is also a tourist spot. Boating at Ooty lake is expensive and not very exciting. Moddys cafe is chocolate/desert place. Do not miss it. Out of ooty one can visit pykara peaks,boat house and shoot spots. Walking around in Ooty town is also fun. Dodda Betta Peak is also a nice spot to visit.

    Excellent place to see and enjoy nature.. Green green everywhere with mountains around us.. The climate is pleasant during the day time and was soo chill after 6pm.. Best place to relax your mind and body

    Ooty is a good choice for me to travel at this time

    Ooty is a good choice for me to travel at this time But I have to find better property to stay than the place I've been Or the owner must take care of the place because it was in a wonderful area of tea properties

    We stayed there for 3 days doing sight seeing.

    We stayed there for 3 days doing sight seeing. Day1 -> Local ooty places like doddabetta peak, rose garden, tea factory, chocolate factory, ooty lake etc It was good and very beautiful. Day2 -> Pykara side. -> Not worth at all. Pykara waterfall (its not a waterfall :p), Pykara boating -> Just too expensive (1150rs for 2 person speed boating for 10mins), pine forest (not that great). Only thing good on day2 was shooting spot and did a horse riding somewhere on the road. Day3 -> Coonoor sight seeing. Was great. MRC outer view, Wellington areas/camps views, tea gardens view, dolphin nose(spectacular view), lambs rock, sims park. It was awesome on day3. Activities I would suggest for couples: 1> Boating on ooty lake. 2> Spend romantic time on rose garden 3> Goto chocolate factory and try out some delicious chocolates. 4> Enjoy a toy train ride from ooty. (I missed the toy train ride) 5> Enjoy horse riding especially on eucalyptus forest. (Raaz movie shooting was done there) 6> Spend quality time on shooting spot. 7> Spend time on sim's park. 8> Have a coffee on doddabetta peak. 9> Walk across the ooty city commercial road and do hopping post evening. 10> Do a speed boating on the pykara lake. (Its a bit expensive but its an adventure type) My favourite places were - Ooty lake views & boating, Shooting spot while going to pykara, rose garden, pykara speed boating, coonoor tea gardens, dolphin nose, sim's park. I would suggest book a cab day-wise for sight-seeing. Its not easy to find local transport and also not comfortable. If you are a non-south indian and not fond of south-indian food, then finding tasty food/good restaurant for lunch during sight-seeing is a bit difficult. Talk to the cab driver for suggestions and find something nearby.

    There are a lot of of beautiful places to see in ooty.

    There are a lot of of beautiful places to see in ooty. Probably 3 to 4 days is a good time to cover Ooty and conoor. Ours was a shorter trip so could only cover half of botanical garden, Ooty lake, pukara waterfall and lake, dodabetta, wenlock and tea factory. There were a few other places we wished to visit but didn't have time.

    Nothing. This is a fraud hotel. There is no hotel of that name. Total fraud. They made me pay advance and later we didn't find the hotel. The contact person also didn't pick our call on the check in date. We had to move to another hotel. Very Dissapointed. Also i am not happy with booking.com service. Firstly I couldn't find a customer care number. Secondly I belive they should take ownership of the information they provide regarding the hotels on their web site.
