I am staying in this property for the second time . This time it was very bad. Too noisy pressure pump which makes loud noise disturbed my sleep. Receptions staffs were not bothered about anything . All I like is there is a restaurant in the ground floor which is good as always . I won’t prefer this hotel next time as it will offer sleepless night

The home is beautifully located at the mouth of the Kadalundi river. Praveen & Meera have a lovely covered deck over the river where we spent most of our time. It’s peaceful & enjoyable to watch pond herons, egrets & ibis searching for food.
Meera’s cooking as certified by other reviewers is excellent. Everyday for breakfast & dinner we had different items. Dosa, sambar, eggs, French toasts, puttu & kadla curry, Idiappam & kurma. Dinner likewise was a variety of excellent Keralite food - nathuli fry and fish curry, Appam & chicken stew, pepper chicken with chapatis and pathiri (rice rotis). Each meal was accompanied by fruit. I was so happy to get jackfruit in this season. The food was so well made with so much love. Thank you Meera.
Praveen was always responsive n very helpful, organising auto/taxi for us. Making calls on our behalf because of language issues! Pulling out a huge spider from the room.
It was monsoon season. We had gone armed with mosquito spray, odomos cream. Praveen had ayurvedic agarbati’s & electric Good Night mosquito repellent so the room was totally mosquito free.
