The outside can be deceiving because the inside is beautiful. Beautiful furniture, comfortable beds, shared huge and modern bathrooms but enough bathrooms for the number of rooms that no one used the one across the hall from us. The floor was even heated. The owner does not provide breakfast but there is a restaurant very near his place. The restaurant was expensive even for Iceland. There is a large modern kitchen for the guests to use. There was sugar and tea.

Coziest farmhouse experience. Home-cooked meal and great interaction with the staff. Probably best authentic Icelandic food that we had our whole trip. Staff also notified us that we could see the Northern Lights outside. Extremely accommodating. Also loved the museum and sauna.
This is a tiny gem in an unbelievable location. It is a true bargain!
Oh my! Tiny but complete. It has a useful kitchen! Microwave, cooktop with two places, refrigerator, Wi-Fi, kitchen stuff including wine glasses. It's located a hundred meters from the West canyon overlook!
There are only shades on windows, not curtains, so there is endless daylight that sneaks around the edges. Use an eye mask! You have a router all to yourself so strong signal but password is small and located over door. We note this because our neighbor tapped on the door at 20:30 asking if we had the password. Each cabin should be unique but we told him to look over his door.
