The location is very remote but beautiful. We used this hotel as a stop from vik to stykkisholmur. The staff were very friendly and greeted us warmly. The soup at dinner was the perfect finish to a busy day.

This accommodation was such a positive surprise! It's in a very quiet location accessible by a countryside road. The room was small, but was comfy, warm, cozy and had everything I needed. A full kitchen is available to use as well as laundry facilities. I had the breakfast included, and I was happy with it (I had my own, but if you require non-dairy milk, you might want to contact them in advance). The hostess was super nice, she served me breakfast and was available to answer my questions - she gave me some good advice which helped me to better plan the rest of my day. I didn't use the shower as Krauma Geothermal Baths and Spa are just 11 minutes away. It also had a stunning view from the terrace.

Lovely remote cabin on a horses breeding farm, great for the dark nights Aurora sighting.
The cabin was warm and very comfortable and had everything we needed! Parking right outside your door. We gad a lovely chat with the farmer who showed us around the stables. All their horses were so beautiful and it was so lovely to meet them properly.
Would certainly stay again if and when we are back in Iceland.
