The rooms are beautifully appointed and lovely and warm to come to after a cold day. You don’t hear anyone else which is great. Everything is clean and comfortable.
Easy to find and excellent place to stop on the golden circle.
This hotel is set on a farm within the Golden Circle Region, 15 minutes’ drive from Gulfoss Waterfall and Geysir hot water springs.

Cute room overlooking the valley. There's an on-site restaurant and they were even able to make a latte to go even though their cafe/ice cream parlor wasn't technically open when we checked out. The hottub was as described. The floor was heated which was heavenly and allowed us to dry out some wet clothing.

Laugarvatn is in an excellent location between the national park to the west, and Geysir and Gulfoss Waterfall to the east. It has a beautiful view of the lake and the surrounding hills, a few restaurants, gas, and plenty of lodging.

I loved this place.
I loved this place. It was perfect location for different places to visit such as Geyster, Pingvilllar (National Park), etc. The accommodation was cosy and lovely. The owners were friendly, helpful and thoughtful; always informed me and my friends about the weather and issues with the hire car. We loved the scenery of the lake especially visiting the hot geothermal bath nearly every night. the last night before we returned to the city, we saw Northern Lights! that was the highlight of the short break. We would go back and stay there again. Loved it.

Someone might say that room is tiny, and we want to watch TV (my room didn't have a TV). But I think everything was there what we want for Iceland trip like a warm and modern room, quiet environment, and gentle hospitality. Dining bar was so good to enjoy Iceland beer and snacks. I would like to visit again if it is possible.
Great value for money, clean and no fuss. No interaction with staff, check-in done via codes for the rooms.
Walking distance to lake and Fontana Geothermal Baths
5min drive on the 365 to a picnic rest stop to get away from the town lights to see the northern lights.
One of the best hotels of our trip. Beautiful and cosy room. The staffs were friendly. The dinner was nice and beautifully located with a view. Close to great attractions. Would love to stay a few nights more if we had more time.
