A smooth self check in accommodation. The facilities is complete - there is a kitchenette with a microwave, fridge, oven, and electric kettle with complete utensils
The place is spacious and clean! Especially the bathroom! Our stay was really comfortable because we did not feel cramped in a tight space.
The breakfast is okay. A little variety would be good but regardless it was good. Plus points for syrup pumps for coffee!
The location is 2 minutes from bus stop and a pick up point to almost all tours if you opt for it.
Overall, it was a perfect stay. Would definitely recommend!

Nice hotel and good location.
Though I would have liked some shelving in the bathroom as there was no place to put our toilettries or to hang bath towels.

Cleanliness, cozy, warm. Really enjoyed the room but to be honest we stayed very little in the room as we were on full day trips every day. Breakfast was great and healthy!

Iceland is a beautiful country with many incredible natural wonders. It will be loved by those who enjoy exploring nature. Reykjavik is small, and it's easy to get around the city. However, the prices in the country are exorbitant and excessive. Food, excursions, and museums are all overpriced.

Be prepared for the costs of food and services.
Be prepared for the costs of food and services. Remember this is an island and with tough, changing weather. Be open to the experience of culinary delights, friendly people, and the most accepting and unassuming culture. The landscapes were otherworldly. We loved it! We can't wait to explore more! We will definitely return!

Everywhere was clean.
Everywhere was clean. You get to experience all the seasons in a day which is odd. The waterfalls are out of this world and the Glaciers are immense and impressive to see.
Eating out was expensive so heading to Bonus their version of Lidl/Aldi, was a good alternative. It was still expensive in the supermarket but if you choose wisely you'll be fine. If you travel with young children im sure they will enjoy Iceland, however it will hit your wallet big time with having to feeds the kids and pay for souvenirs and treats. Maybe go alone :)
Very safe place to wonder the streets and take it all in.
If you get a hire car which I would suggest be very careful on the roads. The roads are some of the worst i have driven on with pot holes and tramlines etched into them. When your driving on a tramline and its icey it can be very difficult to keep the car where you want to go. But the max speed is 90kph / 55mph which doesnt seem fast but trust me on the ice and pothole roads its fast enough. Stick to the speed limit and use your judgement.

I recently spent two days in Reykjavik and absolutely loved it. The city is clean, vibrant, and incredibly welcoming. From the colourful streets of the Old Town to the modern charm of Harpa Concert Hall, Reykjavik blends culture and natural beauty effortlessly. The food scene was a pleasant surprise—fresh seafood, cosy cafes, and delicious pastries everywhere. Despite the short stay, I managed to explore a few of the local landmarks. It's a compact city and quite hilly but with a lot of heart—definitely worth visiting!

The accomodation was clean and the location is really perfect, the BSÍ bus terminal was close by, it's a walking distance to the city centre, plus there are a bunch of day trips where a bus will pick you up directly from the hostel. The rooms, beds and bedding were simple but quite comfortable and clean. There are a lot of bathrooms on every floor so even with the hostel almost full, I never waited too long for one. The kitchenette has everything you need to make a quick. For such a cheap price, this is really an amazing place to stay.
The accommodation looks like a dormitory turned into a hostel. The rooms are simple but clean, each room has a sink which is nice. Although we requested one large bed, it never worked in Iceland so even here we got two single beds on the opposite sides of the room to sleep on. The experience was okay. The city center is a little walk away and the airport shuttle bus station is just down the road so for an entry or exit point from Reykjavik it is an ideal place to stay.
the receptionist was so helpful with our early-checking. Also, the early checking gave us access to the breakfast that I must say it was one of the best breakfasts in hotels I had. The breakfast doesn't have too much variety but the quality of the food it's unmatched (the pastries were delicious) . The room was ok. the location is unbeatable. Right at the center of Reykjavik, just 2 minutes walking to rainbow street.
Lovely choice of common sitting areas. Great buffet breakfast - loads of variety and choice. Great location just a short stroll to city centre and shops. Next to the old working marina. Plenty of places to eat nearby but be aware if Icelandic prices - great quality food but not cheap - not the hotel’s fault in any way.
It is in the downtown, I liked the kitchen and the restaurant downstairs, also the Reservation Manager understood that we were very tired due to long travel, so allowed early check in that I liked very much, it is also cheaper than another hotels
