Check-in was quite smooth, and parking plentiful.
The room was quite spacious and comfortable.
The main attraction in the area is Secret Lagoon, which is a short (<5 minutes) drive away. You can probably also just walk it, but at least for the time we were in Fludir (we went to Secret Lagoon on a different day from the time we stayed here), it was super windy. Thankfully, the central courtyard was mostly shielded from the wind, so if you want to be outside, there is some respite there.
Solheimar Eco-Village consists of 2 guests houses called Brekkukot and Veghus, both located in Sólheimar village. All rooms and apartments offer free WiFi access and mountain views.
