Very quiet location, a good place for star glazing. Able to cook, but the kitchen utensils and appliances are not so clean. Bed is small, rooms, living hall and shower room has good heating. A unique experience where you stay in the middle of a big plain with mountains behind you.
Featuring a terrace, Apartment Brekka í Lóni features accommodation in Stafafell. The accommodation is non-smoking.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this incredible guesthouse in Iceland, and I can’t recommend it enough! Tucked away in a stunningly remote location, it offered the perfect escape into the heart of Iceland’s breathtaking wilderness.
The room was exceptionally clean to the highest standard and the beds were super comfy.
The host, Eyrún, was absolutely wonderful, warm, and welcoming, going out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed. She recommended a beautiful waterfall nearby and even went out of her way to inform us about the northern lights dancing in the sky above us, a moment we will never forget. Thanks to Eyrún, this is now one of our best memories that we associate with the guesthouse, and one that would not be possible if it wasn’t for her.
The breakfast is all homemade, fresh and delicious, the skyr is the best you’ll ever taste. Felt like eating at a friend’s house.
Thank you and can’t recommend this place enough!

To be in the middle of nothing and being able to see the northern lights from the windows was priceless. It was really nice and sufficiently cozy also for four people.

+ Comfortable, quiet, clean room.
+ Excellent buffet breakfast: tasty, varied.
+ wake up service to see Aurora (we did see it and it was beautiful).
Stafafell Nature Camp was what I expected. My only suggestion would be for them to trip the shrubs on the trails to the tents as they scrape against your bare legs. Having a clear clear to to your tent would be nice.

This was our first time camping in Iceland. The views were amazing and so was the tent. It did get cold during the night but we were given a great set of sleeping bags so it didn’t affect us much. I love the outdoors so I loved camping here. I would definitely recommend
Great location and beautiful camping spots. The view in the morning was magnificent. The tent and the beds were adequate and clean. Personnel was very friendly. Very good stop-over location when going to the east of Iceland.
This was the only stay where we watched television as Netflix was available, thank you. A real bargain considering our itinerary. Liked our walk around the settlement of Stafafell. Was not looking for any glitz.
