Quietly located 5 km from Iceland's Ring Road and 13 km from Lake Mývatn, this family-run guest house offers views over Sandfell Mountain.

Location was great and the hot tub was an added bonus! The restaurant was lovely too and we loved having the complimentary breakfast each day. Rooms were really spacious too.

Situated by Lake Myvatn, this hotel offers WiFi . All rooms feature a TV and private bathroom. Skútustaðagígar natural site is 2 minutes’ walk away.

We stayed in the hotel 2 nights and we liked it a lot. The hotel is situated next to the beautiful lake Myvatn. There’s a free parking area next to the hotel. The rooms were clean and tidy. The food was always freshly prepared. We spent the evenings playing darts 🎯 and drinking their craft beer 🍻 I would like to thank the staff of the hotel. Everyone was friendly and helpful with smiley faces. We didn’t use the sauna and hot tubs but they looked nice. A nice compliment was free coffee and tea any time you wanted in the lobby. I recommend this hotel everyone who seeks for comfort and hospitality.

This hotel is quietly situated 2 km from Lake Mývatn and 30 minutes’ drive from the Godafoss Waterfall and Krafla Crater. It offers free Wi-Fi and rooms with modern furnishings.

We drove over the mountain through a white-out blizzard and were thankfully able to check in a little early. Staff were super-helpful and we felt very welcome. Drove back to Hverir once the storm cleared and that was cool. Came back to an aurora alert in the evening and a comfy sleep once the adrenaline wore off. Clean, modern hotel in a great location. Loved the window-seat for watching the lights.

Offering a shared kitchen/lounge and mountain views, Skútustadir Guesthouse is set on a farm by the southern shore of Lake Mývatn. WiFi and parking are free.

The Guesthouse was quite clean, the kitchen well equipped, the room very clean, as was the shared bathroom. An incredibly nice host, promoting the family farm located all around the place and who offered us a breakfast with local products. We were also able to observe the milking of the cows that produce the milk used to make the various products present during the breakfast. We recommend ! Thank you from Justine & Paul.

Featuring a restaurant, this summertime hotel is located in the rural surroundings of the Reykjadalur valley. Akureyri is 60 km away, while Husavik is 40 km away. Free high-speed WiFi is included.

- very good location if you want to visit Husavik or Godafoss - the best breakfast we’ve had in Iceland - Staff was very very friendly and gave us a lot of information on the sites - just want to mention there’s a gas station and also a small supermarket and restaurant close by in case you want to refill your car or your stomach :)

Located in Godafoss, 700 metres from Godafoss Waterfall, Hótel Goðafoss Fosshóll provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace.

This is a fantastic hotel right by the waterfalls. Super friendly staff, they even woke us up (upon our request!) so we could see the Northern lights for the first time. Good breakfast. Spacious and clean rooms.

Set on Lake Myvatn’s northern shore, this property is 5 minutes’ drive from Myvatn Nature Baths. On-site facilities include a communal kitchen, small convenience store and bicycle rental.

Great breakfast and very nice staff. Pay attention: the check-in is at a separate building on the other side of the road then where you have to go in to get to the bed and breakfast. The pictures look more polished than what it looks like in real life. But, everything you need is there.

Nice getaway - quiet and cozy athmosphere.

Nice getaway - quiet and cozy athmosphere. Close to the main attractions at Myvatn. Great breakfast buffet. Restaurant offers little choices but what they have is good and homemade (f.ex lamb and trouts are home-breed).
