Once a wool factory, Il Cavalier D'Arpino dates back to the 16th century. It is now a charming hotel with a spacious garden and wonderful views across the valley.

It was a fantastic stay. The staff is very professional and kind. The food is amazing with exptional local produce and totally worth your money. They even gifted my sphynx cats the extra blanket we asked for since the weather wasn't very "Springy" !

Location for breakfast was near the house, small ride away. Included coffee, cakes and juice. House was nice and real original Italian rural villa. Host was really kind, friendly and helpful.

It was comfortable, clean, well equipped, excellent coffee, good bathroom and the beds were great.
Sandro is the most wonderfull, patient and helpful person. He was very kind about us getting ourselves lost and then late, and helpful in recommending a restaurant, getting us to the parking spot and to the apartment. He was wonderfully communicative. 20/10 for him!
Very pretty and historical town with beautiful palazzi.
Very pretty and historical town with beautiful palazzi. The restaurant scene was very disappointing. A couple of basic trattorias within walking distance but no elegant or atmospheric eating places. All the good places are out of town it seems.
Civita Vecchia di Arpino very interesting.

We were just passing through, and we picked a favorite hotel on the spot. Because the decoration style of the picture is very distinctive. We drove a mountain road to get there, only to find out later that we were going to another place to pick up the keys, so we spent the night at the place where we picked up the keys, not the style shown in the picture. The actual place to spend the night was relatively ordinary, but the breakfast was very rich, even my favorite fried eggs, juice, milk, coffee, and all kinds of bread, which was wonderful
After 4 nights in Rome, La Pietra was a very peaceful refuge, in the hills outside of Arpino, the very charming birthplace of Cicero. The grocery had good local wine, cheese, and bread for picnics along Camino di San Benedetto.
I picked this agriturismo because of the reviews for dinners. Unfortunately, during the week, in the off season, they don’t cook, unless they know that there will be enough diners. Breakfast was good, with a rotating selection of pastries, bread, meat, coffee and juice.
We really enjoyed our time in Arpino & the hotel, The team are extremely helpful & so nice to talk to..
We we will be staying again, & cant wait to see Queen B again.. ; )
