The property and bedrooms were charming- farm house style. After walking 6 hours in shocking weather- the open fire in the restaurant certainly warned us up. The staff there were friendly and efficient.
The Picchio Hotel is set in a residential area and offers air-conditioned en suite rooms and free Wi-Fi. The ancient town of Orvieto is a 10-minute away by funicolar(until 8 pm) or by car.

I loved my stay at Hotel Picchio. The staff were welcoming. I had a lovely room with a balcony. The location was fantastic - close to the train station, furnicular and local buses. It was clean and quiet. I would happily stay again. Thank you.
Hotel Duomo is just 15 steps up the stone stairway from Orvieto's majestic Gothic Cathedral. All rooms feature air conditioning, an LCD TV with DVD player, and a small table with 2 chairs.

Very friendly staff, organised a taxi from the station as we arrived mid evening. Excellent location for the cathedral and old town. Plenty of restaurants nearby.
In a beautifully renovated building located in the heart of Orvieto’s old town lies Hotel Corso, just steps away from monuments and medieval streets. Private parking is available.

The hotel's location is perfect; it is convenient to visit the city. The room is a bit small。Breakfast would be better if it had some local ingredients。
Our hosts were lovely and very friendly. This is a family run farm and it is quiet and in a rural location. They have well looked after family pets so if you don't like animals, this is not for you. Breakfast was good and plentiful. We would stay again if in the area as we were really only passing through a beautiful part of Italy. A good base for Orvieto and other historic towns around, and close to several large lakes. They gave us local tourist information and an excellent place to eat.
EVERYTHING about this stay was incredible. The place itself was stunning and the wine and soap they produce were amazing. But above all it was the family. They were beyond helpful and kind to my family. They even gifted my 5 year old with a brand new Italy football to take away on the rest of our holiday. This was such a nice touch. Thanks again for all your kindness and the unforgettable memories. We look forward to returning to share a glass of wine with you soon.
We were welcomed with open arms and a cup of cappuccino by Ada. The accommodation was perfect, a little out of Baschi and located amongst the vineyards. The home made breakfast was superb with plenty of choice. We even received a delicious bottle of local wine from Roberto. Thank you Roberto and Ada for your wonderful hospitality. I would recommend Le Macchi to anyone wanting to visit Umbria.
Amazing location, the pool is lovely and the hotel is glorious. It’s a wonderful place and I’d like to go back. Also the restaurant wasn’t open but the host made me such an incredible meal. I felt really spoilt and welcome even though my booking was super last minute.
