Fantastic hillside cabin/home above Calci. The views are amazing. Watching the sunrise burn off the clouds trapped in the valley, as the sun slowly lights up the other side of the mountains is a memory I won’t soon forget. The house appears hand built, and built with real care and quality. The artistic touches throughout the house, like the rope light fixtures, were a great addition, and show the owner’s attention to detail. Driving up to the house is a bit of an adventure, but well worth the effort. Luigi, the owner, was beyond gracious, and his sincerity and helpfulness was much appreciated. The best comment I can make is that I will be back.

Comfy and good location

Hotel Roma is just 100 metres from Pisa's Piazza dei Miracoli. Many rooms offer views of the Leaning Tower or the Duomo. Rooms are functional and simply furnished.

This hotel is just opposite the famous landmark leaning tower of pisa.Room was basic, bathroom good size. Amenities like shower cap, towels , body soap, hair dryer and tv aavailable. Breakfast was disappointing. We booked for 2 nights and ate breakfast only one day. There was no facility to take packed breakfast. The rooms are old but stay able.

Hotel Repubblica Marinara is a modern hotel just 2 km from Pisa Centrale Train Station. It offers free parking, and elegant rooms with parquet floors.

Local area offers good choice of meals nearby. I liked the room (even though there were couple of ants in a bathroom; im not sure if we brought them in or if there were there), bathroom was superbly equipped, very helpful staff at the reception (no issues with getting a taxi etc). (Also gorgeously looking Asian man at the reception on our arrival; as huge anime fans me & my daughter were mesmerised! :D Sorry for staring! :) ).

Location , staff , room with comfy bed mattresses , small refrigerator, coffee machine were great 👍 Our family of three including our 7 yrs old son stayed for one night in the separate building from the main hotel and was only within 2-3 mins walk from leaning tower of Pisa and the surrounding tourist attractions.
