Everything was perfect! An incredibly charming and cozy place. Although the host didn’t speak English, we managed to communicate just fine using Google Translate. The host was extremely friendly and accommodating. An exceptional and memorable experience. The design of the trullos was adorable, the beautiful garden, the refreshing pool, the cute cats, the delicious breakfast and the admirable hospitality - a perfect getaway.

Beautiful setting and grounds, pool was great too, restaurant food was very good. More a Wedding venue than a hotel but still very nice.

better stay in a truilli house in Cisternino than in Alberobello. it's quietier and easier to get to Alberobello

The apartment was really clean, comfortable and spacious. We loved that a generous supply of water, sparkling and still, as well as coffee and some snacks were provided. Very much appreciated after a long day on the bike. The host was also extremely accommodating of or need to store three bicycles nearby too – thank you again. Location wise, it was top class for us; a small deli 15 metres from the door supplied some San Daniele ham and a few beers, then a wine bar with a really good selection as well as ambiance just across the road. And of course the old town for wandering around and people watching.

That it took us to ask them to fix the holes in the main doors mosquito net and it hadn't been done before our arrival. Definitely liked having to ask to not have hordes of mosquitos in the cellar during a £1400 for 5 night stay!

Cisternino itself is a very lovely cittadina and ideally placed to visit all the towns around such as Ostuni, Ceglie M, Alberobello (although this is like Disneyland), Locorotondo, M. Franca, Monopoli and Putignano, or even Bari. It's also not far from Salento which I combined with this trip and did Lecce, Otranto, Oria, Gallipoli, Castro, S. Maria di Leuca. It is also only just over an hour to Matera which should not be missed and a unique town very much worth the time and kms.
There are plenty of restaurants in Cisternino and for your morning coffee e brioche don't miss going to Vignola History or visit the panificio Vignola for a delicious freshly made panino and other treats that will put plenty of padding on the hips.

We stayed just outside Cisternino and visited for an afternoon. Beautiful town, very clean with all the essentials. Lovely to wonder around as there were far less tourists then in nearby Ostuni.
Would definitely recommending visiting if in region.

Cisternino is a beautiful town with friendly people.
Cisternino is a beautiful town with friendly people. My Italian is bad but I never had any problems being understood and everyone was very helpful. Go to a place once and they will remember you and your preferences. The food is delicious and plentiful.
The town is clean and safe. One of the really nice things is you can go to the edge of town and farms and vineyards are a short walk. Have a drink or coffee in one of the cafes near the edge of town and enjoy the view.

Cisternino quite rightly is one of the most beautiful town of Italy. We so enjoyed meandering the warrens of beautiful cobbled streets surrounded by immaculate white buildings adorned with an assortment of vividly coloured flowers. The people were so friendly and food and general vibe was fantastic. A truly lovely place to stay and explore Puglia! Less touristy and packed than the neighbouring towns. We will be recommending to everyone we know .

A little outside the town (having a car is useful) Trulli Tesoro is a relaxing haven. The pool area, gardens and patio's were spotless. Breakfast was served on the patio and was delicious, the host was very attentive and our accommodation was lovely. The trulli had all the essentials in it. Great spot for exploring nearby towns of Ostuni and Cisternino.
Would definitely stay here again.
The property is quaint and quirky, the hosts are extremely friendly and helpful. I only stayed night but I would have been staying longer just to have another excellent breakfast. It is very convenient for where I was visiting, that may not be the same for everyone. It is a great place to experience Puglia.
Lovely accommodation in the perfect location for exploring central Cisternino. We had a family of 12 staying and the accommodation was big enough for all of us and well appointed. The owner was extremely helpful and friendly throughout. Thank you!
The apartment is newly renovated, nicely furnished and very well located in the middle of Cisternino. Although very central it’s absolutely not noisy. The owner and her daughter welcomed us very nicely. We can 100% recommend the flat.
Cleanliness. Friendly professional staff. Good quality furnishings.
A lovely experience.
Breakfast was delicious in beautiful surroundings. 1.5kms from Cisternino.
