The staff here are amazing. Friendly, helpful and go out their way to make you smile, especially the reception staff. Well run hotel with fabulous views over the bay of Naples. Peaceful and relaxing. We will return.
An impressive pink villa of the 18th century, Villa Signorini Hotel is set between the Portici Royal Palace and the seaside. Most rooms offer views of the gardens. Parking is free.

Nice grounds. Close to Herculaneum. Good breakfast. Nice service at dinner. Very helpful checkin staff. Toasty warm bathroom with heated floors and towel warmer. Quiet room.

We booked the wrong night and the hotel was very accommodating and booked us in free of charge for the correct night when we arrived. The location was great and the price was excellent. I would recommend.

1. The owner is a great person, who agreed to check me in earlier, because I haven't slept for 25+ hours and I really needed to sleep
2. The room is quite stylish, tidy and clean
3. There are little snacks and tea/coffee point at the common space. It's quiet new and sockets have separate USB points.
4. Quite place with opportunity to make total black-out
5. Quite close to Pompei

The location was good as it is right across the road from the Herculaneum ruins. Breakfast was standard compared to other hotels we stayed at in Italy. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The internet was good.

Extremely quiet. Great view of the bay. The little dog in reception area was cute. The hostess was very friendly and tolerated my bad Italian. Huge room with comfortable bed and pillows. Hot shower. Good TV. Plenty of secure parking. Early check-in. Only 20 mins to airport. 20 mins from Vesuvius.

Fantastic stay, the family that run the hotel are lovely and went over and above to make us feel comfortable. We were travelling with a small baby and they were very accommodating. Particular thanks to Giulia and Michele for their assistance & friendliness

The Ercolano ruins were fascinating and the guide who took us around was excellent. The size of the site was more manageable than Pompeii. The town seemed pretty run down and the train station was basic but cheap trains to Naples, Pompeii or Sorrento as and when they run!

The Herculaneum is good to visit.
The Herculaneum is good to visit. A morning or afternoon is plenty of time to wander the ancient site. We found the actual town a bit run down but perfect for accessing Naples, Pompeii and all the other sites on the coast.

Came specifically to see the Parco Archaeologico which was amazing. Perfect time in the off season due to fewer tourists and so could move around easily and see everything with no queues. The audio guide was exceptional.

Great area to just walk around in, visit an art villa or 2, with the superb Ercolano ruins in walking distance. Great choice of restaurants in the vicinity. Easy walk to bus stops to Naples, Pompeii. A great home base for all of Naples.

A very interesting insight into life 2000 years ago in Italy. The museum has a wonderful collection of interesting finds, beautifully displayed.
The discovery of a small fishing boat and related items which have been preserved and given their own building are well worth a visit. The finds are incredible and the way they have been saved so that we can see them today is very interesting.
The discovery of the bones of many people who fled to the shoreline and hid in arches under the city hoping to be saved are really quite remarkable, a little macabre for me but I still wanted to see them.
Much smaller than Pompei and easier to navigate. Lots of wonderful frescoes and mosaics. A memorable visit!

Ercolano itself is not very cosmopolitan, the main reason to go is the archaeological site which is brilliant.
Travel to Pompei is not easy, the direct express train only runs four to six times a day, and tickets must be bought online.
The local Circumvesuviana train is best, but you need to change at Torre Annunziata. No-one tells you this.

Very clean facility, accommodating host, useful information on sightseeing.
Mr. Libberatto clearly loves doing this kind of job, warm person, very open to us.
In only a few days because the train station was near the house we were able to visit a lot.
Nearby fruit booth, store, caffé, pizzeria and restaurant with good food (Casa in Campania).
Besides Vesuvius, Pompei etc. I recommend in Ercolano: Herculaneum (Ercolano Scavi), Palazzo dei Corali.
the hotel is lovely and well kept. The gardens and pool area are beautiful with the Roof top bar providing beautiful views for a night cap. The rooms are very modern and clean. The hotel offered a free shuttle to the local train station in the town of Ercolano (where there were more restaurants, and a 25-minute walk away from Portici which had more restaurants)
The apartment is clean and tidy, good air conditioning and nice bathroom. Small balcony outside with a side view of the sea and Mount Vesuvius. We did not see much of the owner or the cleaner but happy to be left alone. If we needed anything we just asked. Close to the ruins of Herculaneum. Twenty minute walk to the nearest train station
Very good location to experience real Italian village life! Lots of good restaurants near by, close to Vesuvio volcano and Ercolano archeological site! train station in 5 minutes of walk, so you can visit all Amalfi coast by train! Clean rooms, good air conditioning, very nice and helpful host! Recommend to everyone, 10 out of 10!
Right across the road from the Herculaneum ruins . Lovely staff. Good included breakfast. A couple of nice places to eat just moments away from the hotel.
