The restaurant is very nice but the rooms are quite dark and basic. I was passing through for just a night so it’s ok for that. The beds are a bit lumpy and old fashioned but it’s reflected in the price. The staff (it’s a family) are very nice.

The scenery is beyond my imagination, staying in a previously abandoned village. The craftsmanship and artistic ability of Paolo (the owner and builder)is amazing. The host Paolo can't do enough for us, he and his wife Katya treated as like old friends and invited us for a sumptuous BBQ dinner at their beautiful surroundings.

We loved this property and the staff. It is beautifully kept and clean with every amenity but the best part is the staff. Although we speak no Italian and the staff spoke little English they tried so very hard to help us with all of our questions and they did. The owner went out of his way to help us and even gifted us with wine and a selection of cheese and meat to enjoy while we relaxed on the terrace. The groundskeeper was such a kind gentleman and Ida was super sweet as was the young lady who helped to interpret for us. The breakfast was by far the best we have had in the last three weeks. If we could rate this place a 15 we would. It is just a bit off the trail of The Way of Francesco but so worth the detour.
