Firstly pickup driver from airport did not anwer my calls and whatsapp and I had to book airport taxi to reach airport. Hotel management did not give satisfactory answer to this mismanagement despite my complaint with all the proofs.
Secondly room lacks basic stuff like complimentary bottled water.
3rdly, breakfast experience was worst with bad attitude of the reception staff. No staff was available at restaurant to serve or assist guests. Basic food items such as yogurt were missing.

The shuttle pick and delivery were prompt, on time and both drivers courteous and helpful.
My room faced the refuse containers but for one night is not a concern. I did not sleep with my window open for this reason.

Room was comfortable, good value for the money, the interaction with the staff was minimum, they are only available during bussines hours mostly. Language barrier was noticeable, tried English or Spanish..... so, using google translator is a good idea.

Fiumicino is best known for its access to the Eternal City through Leonardo Da Vinci International Airport. Despite this recent claim to fame, Fiumicino includes several archaeological sites around the ancient harbors of Ostia and Portus. It's also an important fishing center and summer resort, especially along the beaches and coves of Isola Sacra.
Hosting the busiest airport in Italy and the sixth busiest in Europe, the town has grown in a series of services that fit with these suburban functions. Examples are the Fiera di Roma conference center, or the Parco Leonardo recreation center.
The town of Fiumicino is 20 miles from central Rome, while Da Vinci Airport is 19 miles away from the Italian capital. The remains of Ostia Antica are less than 6 miles away.
Like many airports in the world, you can find hotels in Fiumicino Airport directly on its premises, providing effortless access to your flights.
Since most Fiumicino hotels are in the Isola Sacra area, you might get the chance to enjoy the Tyrrhenian beaches and the tasty Italian seafood.

For business trips it is important to stay near to the airport. And the town Fiumicino is a perfect choice in such cases, i.e. close to the airport, airport shuttles are available but still you will be staying in a nice town with supermarkets, close beaches, canal and more importantly various cosy restaurants where you can enjoy delicious pasta, famous pizza, delicious sea food and tasty Italian deserts.

We expected this area to be a nice beach-side town, close to the airport. However, it was not that close and the area itself is very rundown. We were there in winter (Feb) so it was quite deserted and also too windy to stay outdoors. However, there are many 4+ rated restaurants in the area and I suspect that in the summer the area would feel very different.

It was an easy trip to the airport and the host was super helpful with answering questions and providing alternative travel that was cheaper than a car service. The area is quiet and local - we wish that we could have more time to explore and try the restaurants! The beach was a perfect way to get in some refreshing exercise for us and our child before the long flight home.

Great place to escape the hustle and bustle of Rome yet still be able to enjoy many nice restaurants, cafes, wine bars, etc. Ideally located near the airport (FCO) for easy in and out when enduring a long layover.

Not what we expected at all.
Not what we expected at all. The area by the river is fabulous. Lined with shops, bars and restaurants. We ate at Tarumbo, which was superb. Quick morning coffee and pastry at Pasticceria Patrizi as well. It was full of locals, which is usually a good sign.

I loved walking along the pier at sunset.
I loved walking along the pier at sunset. All the fishing boats just came back from the day on the sea and were selling their catch right there to the locals. Very peaceful and authentic experience. Then had the best seafood risotto I have ever had at a locals restaurant

Stayed for one night before going on to Siena. Close to Fiumicino airport, you can get there by local bus for 7 euros. The room is quite large, spacious, new. Comfortable large bed. The room has a refrigerator, TV, separate spacious bathroom with all the necessary amenities. In the fully equipped shared kitchen on the ground floor of the hotel there is everything you need to cook, a kettle, coffee machine, water cooler and snacks for breakfast. The owner Mario kindly arranged for us to return to the airport.
The location is perfect for anyone traveling through Fiumicino airport, as it’s just a short distance away. This made catching my early flight a breeze without the stress of long travel times. Despite its proximity to the airport, the hotel itself is quiet, offering a peaceful retreat after a day of sightseeing or travel. The value for money is fantastic, and I will definitely stay here again next time I’m in Fiumicino! Bonus, you get to visit an incredible beach within walkable distance.
If you need to be near Fiumicino Airport, this Hilton Hotel is a good choice. A bit of walking is required but there are moving sidewalks along the way. The bed was extremely comfortable and the breakfast was great. I also have to mention that the shower is comprehensible; changing the water source or temperature isn't a big mystery.
Good transfer shuttle bus running to a fixed schedule from Fiumicino airport. Around 10 minutes to the hotel.
Good sized room facing the Tiber outlet to the sea with occasional fishing boats passing.
Good restaurant for non-seafood dishes (almost all the local restaurants concentrate on fish).
