Clean and comfortable, reasonably priced, room in small guest house in old town centre, with many bars/restaurants/shops nearby.
Breakfast was included in the price, but I had to leave early to catch a train, so didn't have it.

Palazzo Sant'Elena in Foggia is excellent! We loved it—it was the most pleasant stay of our trip. The building is historic, with great rooms and facilities. We stayed in a quadruple room with ample space, high ceilings, and good ventilation—offering both comfort and great value for money.
Breakfast is delightful, with many great options. The croissants are excellent, and the bruschettas are delicious.
The reception staff is very kind, especially one team member (whose name I don’t recall) who helped me with directions to the Grand Apulia shopping center. She was very helpful, professional, and friendly. Grazie Mille (:
The hotel’s location is great—just a 10-minute walk from the station and right next to local shops.
There is a restaurant on the ground floor (independent from the hotel) that is well worth visiting. The food is excellent and fairly priced. We had fish and the local polenta, which was delicious, along with a regional wine. The service was quick and efficient.
I definitely recommend staying at Hotel Santa'Elena!

There are a few points of interest and decent shopping but this city is industrial in nature and as such you have to take this in consideration when visiting. The lder part of town looks alright in some parts but others looked run down.

Foggia is a very beautiful and extremely underrated city.
Foggia is a very beautiful and extremely underrated city. There are some beautiful places you can visit in Foggia and most of the people are very kind too. The food is mostly extremely affordable and the public transport is very good too.
The language barrier is sometimes a little annoying, but with some gestures and Google Translate, you will get very far! The traffic in the city can also be quite tricky sometimes, but if you keep paying attention, it will be fine.

People I spoke to were rude about Foggia.
People I spoke to were rude about Foggia. I really enjoyed my visit. Attractive centre, lots of energy and life, with many people out enjoying the many great bars and restaurants. Plenty of interesting places to visit in the surrounding area too.

Foggia is horrible.
Foggia is horrible. I have never seen such a dirty city in my life. The sanitary napkins were lying on the street. There is rubbish everywhere in the city, really everywhere! The roads are mega bad. And the city looks very depressed. And because there is rubbish everywhere, it smells like rubbish everywhere too.

Unfortunately we feel that we were misrepresented on the website as what it shows you isn’t we’re we ended up staying. We ended up in room on the opposite site of the road further down. But the Manager who organised building was very nice and very helpful, Foggia itself was a lovely town very friendly people we had a lovely meal and drinks out which was very reasonable.

Very close to train station.
Rosalia was wonderful hosting us. She indicates restaurants and place to buy bus tickets to go to Foggia. We leave very early to Foggia and she kept our luggage until we come back to get our next train. Besides that she provided us with a lot of snacks to take away once we didn't have time to have breakfest. We really felt our selves home.
Very nicely styled hotel. Stylish with nicely executed touches. I liked the colours and lamps in the room. The A/C was easy to control and effective. I liked the wood detail on the door numbers. The bed was comfy. The shower was good. The room was quiet. The staff were nice. The breakfast included fruit, a rarity for Italy!!
