The host is a great guy. Jovial, friendly and helpful ...
The lodging is somewhat Spartan but this is in line with the Masseria concept. I fell in love with his little mutt named Nili, his blue/gray Vietnamese pigs, the chickens and the goose (geese).
Located in a very out of the way location. BTW, i reccomend that you go to Ginosa for dinner. It is wild to see the whole town out at night walking 🚶♀️ talking and generally quite pleased with themselves ... and why not??
I am glad we made the effort to stay here and then to go to Matera. Another gem.

This is a very well set up apartment with high quality and well designed and appropriate fixtures and amenities.
The central location has a private garage 1 minute away. The upstairs terrace gave a beautiful view of the surrounding countryside over the rooftops and also the sunset.

Giovanna is super helpful. She always asks if there is anything that I need more. A small garden backyard is good as well.

Great apartment, excellent location in the center, rich breakfast. You have everything you could possibly need. The owner is really great, helpful and so nice. Even the apartment is in the ZTL zone, he registered the plate number of our car and this allowed us to park infront of the apartment. He also gave us good advices about the interesting places around and recomended one really nice restaurant for our dinner. Our stay was fantastic.

Nice modern villa with few rooms little outside from the city center. All comfort, self breakfast, easy to found and to park around or inside. Ginosa is a very cool city to visit.
We explored the City of Ginosa, not the marina section.
We explored the City of Ginosa, not the marina section. It's another little hidden gem in the Southeastern corner of Italy, worthy of at least 2 days of exploring and interacting with the warm local merchants and general population. Bring your best walking shoes. Elevation changes await you at every pedestrian intersection and public stairwell.
