Villa San Michele was a fantastic experience. You get there by gravel road which can only be considered as as breathtaking as views are great especially if you take dirty road from Rada di Chiante. Do not worry, every car will make it! Rooms are superb clean and decorated with taste. We were lucky to get an upgraded room with sun set view! Alice and Daniel are serving very tasty and unique cuisine, one you cannot experience on one of street restaurants. Two fire places, food, wine and great views will make your dinner unforgettable. If we will ever be back to Tuscany this will be our stay. Thank You Alcie and Daniel.!

The property was a good location for what we wanted to do and close to Pisa, Florence etc.
The buffet breakfast was good - good selection of fresh fruit, pastries, yoghurts, breads and delicious cakes too! Cappucino's were great.
The hotel is rustic, easy to find, lovely and helpful staff.
Housed in a historic building, the recently renovated Corte Di Valle features accommodation with pool with a view and free WiFi.

Amazing property - exceeds expectations in every way.
Amazing property - exceeds expectations in every way. The staff, the scenery, the luxe and comfy room decor, the lovely upgrade, and all the wonderful wine and food on property and in nearby Montefioralle and Greve. SO worth the trip. I wish we were here in the warmer months to make use of that beautiful pool with the to-die-for view!!!

We went to Greve for the Chianti Classico festival and unfortunately did not get to see as much of the area as we would have liked. There were many nice shops and restaurants in and around Piazza Matteotti. There was also a butcher shop and bakery in the Piazza were you could get meats, cheeses, and fresh baked breads. We had no trouble parking, even during the Chianti Classico festival. Several of the restaurants in the Piazza had wine dispensers where you could purchase a pre-paid card and sample a variety of wines. Prices varied by types of wine and whether you chose a taste or full glass. It was fun to try them.

Beautiful little town with a picturesque square but not much to hold interest for long. Surrounding countryside and nearby villages are stunning.
Essential shopping OK in town but a long drive to the nearest big center or supermarket. We didn't find a bakery.

Greve is unique.
Greve is unique. In the besutiful square there are superb restautants and cafes, a famous burtcher, excellent wine outlets for Chianti wine, and friendly people. Lots of tourists, but then so were we.

Nice Coop Supermarket.
Nice Coop Supermarket. Remember the parking ticket for the car. The Main Square with the restaurants, church and boutiques is a must. However be careful with the quality and service of Cafe Lepanto because it would be an overall unsatisfied visit to your beautiful day.

There were several places to eat and local shops were one could buy food.
The countryside is lovely.
Grieve is a good base from which to explore Chianti.
There is also a good public bus to Greve from Florence - only €5.00 each but you have to buy and validate the ticket on-line.

perfect holiday in Chianti. this is our third time in Tuscany, but certainly this was the best accommodation we had. really good for taking a break from the world. fully recommend to eat dinner also on the premises (we also tried other restaurants, but here was the best food we have - never change the chef :d). everything was clean and all the staff was very kind and helpful. if you are in doubt to whether to book this place or not, go for it!
Beautiful property with amazing views, the owners are very kind and helpful with travel and dinner suggestions. They have their own wine, you can do a wine tasting whenever you want. Nice pool with amazing views on tuscany hills and vineyards. Higly recommend!
Great 3 bedroom apartment in the heart in Greve in Chianti. Calm and quiet. Cozy and clean. With private parking,. Best restaurant in Italy - la Cantina is few steps away! Perfect communication with the owner.
Lovely house in a beautiful and tranquil setting in Tuscany. We enjoyed a walk along the quiet roads in the area and loved the drive towards Siena through typical Tuscan country side.
