Great location with only 10 minute walk to the grocery store or beach. Gelato and restaurants were also within 10 minute walk. The hosts, Marino and Giselle were also very nice and attentive.
Ispra doesn't have much of anything going on. Lakeside is not too exciting. Nothing much in the tiny town. Highlight was the pizzeria, and even then we kept getting told off for getting there too late. Not a great hub to get to other areas because you have to traverse some super narrow roads to get to Laveno or to the west side of the lake. If I had it to do again, I would stay in Cannobio or Sestra.

Reasonable price for hotel.
Reasonable price for hotel. Took some work/luck to find a good restaurant. Proximity to Maalpensa airport was a big plus. Lake views less impressive than Stresa.
Stresa is a bigger, more picturesque town, but much pricer hotels.

Ispra is a lovely town, with a nice little beach, but there...
Ispra is a lovely town, with a nice little beach, but there could be more cafes and restaurants, especially in the beach area. While there were plenty of places, they were all very spread out around the town. Also in August, many of the restaurants were shut.

It is an old house beautifully renovated. It is lovely, the room and bathroom is clean and the bed is comfy. You can even have your breakfast or italian coffee at the terrace with the early sun in the morning. I used also the wifi to work and worked perfectly. The staff is very helpful; they take good care of their hosts. The views are fantastic and you can also have a walk in the lake; the lake as well as Ispra's center are at a short walking distance.
The staff at the reception was exceptionally friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The room was well-equipped with everything we needed, providing a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The view was impressive, both from the room and the restaurant during breakfast, which was a delicious and authentic Italian. Highly recommend this hotel!
Nice bed and breakfast in Ispra. The accommodation is simple and clean. There you have a kettle to prepare a tea or a coffee machine for a coffee. At the ground floor one can enjoy the nice breakfast offered at the cafeteria. However, I chose a typical Italian breakfast. The ratio quality/price is good.
The guest was really nice. I arrived quite late in the night and Francesco waited for me. He provided all the information necessary and the place was amazing, super clear and the quality of the bed is awesome I felt like sleeping in clouds. I do recommend this place if you are going to Ispra.
