I enjoyed my stay at the Hotel Monti very much. It is in the hills on Montalbano far away from the heat and congestion of the city centers but still less than an hour to many interesting places like Lucca, Chianti, Vinci, the coast etc. There is a nice pool to take a swim after a day of sightseeing and parking available. There is also an incredible restaurant where you can dine al fresco on a three course price fix menu that changes daily and features classic and delicious Tuscan fare. Very reasonably priced. The indoor dining room where I had breakfast included every morning is beautiful as well with marble floors and nice amenities. What sets this property apart, however, are the owners and staff. They work extremely hard every day attending to all the details. The property has been in the family for many generations and I think that makes it special. I would like to mention them by name because i enjoyed talking with them every day, but I don't think Booking.com would publish this review if i did. Please consider booking here you won't find better value for your money anywhere. I can't wait to return. Grazie1000 Hotel Monti!!!!

We loved the hotel, the restaurant, and the pool, but it was the staff that really impressed us. Rachele and her team worked tirelessly to make sure we had a pleasant stay!

Lamporecchio does not offer very much apart from " brigidini" local sweets, a visit to Pasticceria Carli is worthwhile . The village is pretty dull and rather modern in spite of the fact that it is cited in the Decameron written in the year 1300 d.C. by the famous Italian novelist and poet Giovanni Boccaccio.

The location was perfect, waking up to the beautiful views of foggy hills and cypress trees was just magical! The setting is really gorgeous and I wish we had a day to spend just enjoying at the hotel. There is a gorgeous outdoor area for breakfast or just enjoying the moment. Location is a bit remote, accesible by car, but we liked that. There is a private parking available.
The rooms were nice, with beautiful old furniture, but a little outdated and would need a bit of refreshing. All the staff were really friendly and helpful.
One of the numerous Tuscany towns where you would stay to avoid pumped up rates in major touristic destinations, though you can still enjoy perfect food, great hospitality, not expensive restaurants etc. So was the hotel: good breakfast, very reasonable price, nice rooms - nothing to complain
A beautiful house and surroundings, and still only a short drive from local areas with plenty of restaurants / supermarket. This family run B&B makes you feel right at home! We particularly appreciated the small, personal touches which you rarely get at larger hotels.
The location of the hotel was excellent. Rooms had their own outside space whether balcony or terrace. The rooms are very simple. Well kept grounds and pool. The restaurant for dinner was superb as was the meal. Breakfast was excellent with a good choice.
What an amazing gem this hotel is, the location, the staff, the view. Absolute highlight of our trip. Everybody was so accommondating, upgrading the room was no problem at all. Will definitely come back. Thank you again so much.
