Malcesine is just the best little town around the lake Garda...
Malcesine is just the best little town around the lake Garda according to my sister and me. It's such a charming little town, the way it's situated on a slope makes all the little alleyways forever changing and so interesting, you just can't get tired of them. There's plenty of little squares either facing the waterfront or in the midst of the old town. The castle on one side and the harbour on the other. Loads of lovely shops with really quaint and useful products, perfect souvenirs. Loads of restaurants and bars, all the ones we tried were superb. Malcesine has super access to Limone and Riva by a breezy boattrip and you could even go to the southside of lake Garda although this takes you a little longer.Guest review byJeanetteSwitzerland - Review score8.0

Regrettably, it rained for most of our three day stay in Malcesine and we were unable to hike on top of Mount Baldo as planned. That said,we were able to take a boat across to Limone for a day and our visit did not disappoint. loved the cable carts. loved the garda express to Limone. St Benedicts church in Limone is stunning. The big ship was a massive disappointment as its nothing more than a party boat for young people.
