the location is amazing. the property itself is very run down. peeling paint, torn and dirty furniture throughout. the reception area and the bathroom of the room I stayed in were especially shocking. the restaurant and pool are okay.

The hotel is beautiful. It was recently renovated and it exceeds all expectations. There are two pools. They are both beautiful. Our only regret is that our stay was so short. After we continued our travels to other parts of Italy, we constantly wished we were back at Hotel New River!

We had an early flight out so it was a perfect location- close to airport. The host was amazing. He gave us recommendations for the day in Palermo ( parking, sights to see) and food near the apartment. Parking was not an issue. The bed was comfortable.

The owner was extra accommodating and provided us with a Sicilian breakfast each morning for a very small charge. We ate outdoors in a lovely outdoor dining area. Very attentive!
