Set in such a tranquil village, it was so peaceful. The staff/owners were friendly and helpful. You could tell the owners take pride in providing all the comforts you should need. The attached restaurant served delicious food for dinner, and the breakfast was fantastic with meats, cheeses, homemade preserves, and baked goods.

Paula,the owner, is by far the best! She made my stay feel just like coming home. She is kind and knowledgeable. We had a lot of conversations about so many things and she taught me a lot about Italian culture and history. She bakes fresh bread and torts and makes a lovely breakfast each morning with homemade jam. She also made me a couple of delicious dinners. She is very easy going and not pushy or invasive at all. The rooms are filled with cool antiques and books and it’s a very peaceful place. I stayed in about 7 places during my trip and she was by far the most memorable.
