It was a beautiful older villa, but I didn't realize how far outside of the Rome city center it was. It cost quite a bit to get back in to town to do the things we wanted to do.

They let me chek in early. One of the best hotel I visited on the Via Francigena. very good brekfast (boild eggs, diffrent sorts of bread, juice ++++ - not only ‘cakes’). The bathroom was not large (mentioned by others - but I had no problem with it. it was clean, it included what I needed. Air conditioned worked, the room was cold and fresh, and the bed included what I needed to be warm.
Staff at the check-in were quite unprofessional - busy talking to one another and asking for payment - which had been done the day before. Room very small and price for one night very high! Breakfast was good. Facilities at hotel limited. Was ok for overnight on the V Francigena.
