60 seconds walk to the sea. Beach was amazing. Nearby town has great food. Everyone very friendly and helpful, including the host who showed us a local sight and even cooked for us once beautifully. Good road access everywhere. Main apartment has access to swing which is great for kids. Windows are good i.e. insect screens plus effective shutters. Plenty of kitchen equipment plus host supplied things like oil, biscuits, coffee , fruit etc. When we arrived it was very cold and there was no hot water so the host moved us from the small apartment to the main one (which was unoccupied), and gave us the keys to access both, if we wanted.

Hotel across from the beach. Excellent fine dining seafood restaurant called Aqua right on the beach attached to the hotel - do not miss it! Breakfast most enjoyable with wide selection and great quality food. Beach excellent for swimming and body surfing.

We ent to the west coast of Puglia (Punta Prosciutto) and were a bit dissapointed about the nature and the villages. Flat country, not very green, lots of olive trees and the villages were not the cozy Italian villages as you see on the pictures. Lots of restaurants with tube lights and plastic furniture. The west coast offers a lot of nice beaches but if you want the go out in the evening and visit the nice vilages with small streets and nice restaurants then better go to the east coast. Otranto, Monopoli, Polignano a Mare, Lecce are beautiful places to visit and to have a nice dinner. On the west coast Nardo and Galipolli are nice but takes at least 30min drive single trip (from Punta Prosciutto to Nardo) over dark local roads.
