The hotel was recommended by friends, and was really good. The room was spacious, cleaned, and the staff was exceptionally kind and welcoming. The hotel's location was also ideal—close to both the city center and the train station. Breakfast was good, including a variety of breads, fresh coffee, juice, cheeses, deli meats, yogurt, and regional specialties like cakes, pies, honey, and homemade jams. On some busy days, there was a lack of some items or took longer to be replaced. I took dinner in the restaurant one night, and everything was lovely. I had a good pasta perfectly cooked, the salt bread was absolutely delicious and the wine was excellent. I also was recommended by the staff to try a regional liqueur made by olive leaves, which surprised me.
