Super position to get to Florence and the hotel is in excellent condition and must be reasonably new?
To get into Florence you need # 26 bus to Resistenza and then #11 tram to Santa Maria Novella. 1€ 70 cents A taxi would probably cost about 18/20.00 €. Both of these services are pretty frequent. Caveat emptor...try to avoid busy times of the day, unless you don't mind being a sardine!!! Don't expect children sitting down to offer you their seat. They won't.
They don't respect age or sex!
Continental breakfast is excellent and plentiful. This is replenished frequently
Great to be away from the noise and hustle bustle of Florence and thousands of tourists. I've been in May, June, October and November and it's always busy.
Room facilities fine...unless you need a safe. There isn't one. It didn't bother me however.
The room was cleaned very thoroughly every day and fresh towels provided.
Excellent air-conditioning if you want it.
I've been to Florence 5 times and 3 of those times I stayed in central hotels. Frankly, I would stay in this hotel again
next time .

The hotel staff were nice and accommodating. We had to check in earlier than 2pm and they were pretty flexible with the time. The hotel is next to a pharmacy and a supermarket. Parking was affordable with 5 euros per night and with plenty of spots. We were recommended a few neighbourhood restaurants and all of those are great. The double room is modern and has plugs and reading lights on both sides of the bed.

The apartment is nice and clean. There is a parking spot in the inside yard. Self check is available. The apartment is not in Florence, but is 25 minutes by bus to the city center. The bus station is 2 minutes walk. Also there is a very nice place for breakfast and coffee and nice restaurants.

the location was amazing, up in the hills above florence,...
the location was amazing, up in the hills above florence, adjoining a national park. Birds all around - very peaceful. very nice staff and lovely croissants and coffee for breakfast
Shared pool and hot tub, but not an issue for us as it was almost empty.
Access to Florence okay, but you need a car. Drive to scandicci for a tram probably best (we drove all th way in with a wheelchair)

Lawrence house is a delight, it's the annex of a rural italian villa. It is in the hills overlooking Scandicci where you can get the tram to Florence which is frequent and cheap and runs from early to late. To come back to this tranquil place and sit on the terrace or relax in the enormous kitchen was delightful. My wife found the hammock delightful. You are not really aware that you have neighbours as you sit listening to the stillness looking out at the beautiful views. Looking forward to going back at some point in the future.
The location was great - less than 1km and you’re in the Tuscan hills and 900m from the Tram into Florence. Local shops were close.
The apartment was clean and roomy with a good bed and nice bathroom, new washing machine etc. and a small view of the hills from balcony .
The host was very helpful when I had questions about things worked.
I loved all the authentic things in the house. Very home like
It seemed a very modern hotel or maybe it had been renovated. It was quite stylish. They did not serve evening meals but there was an excellent restaurant about 100 yards away which had a range of dishes at very reasonable prices. Friendly staff, good breakfast.
Great location, amazing host, veryyyy comfortable bed!
Super connection to Florence !
