The reception staff were not very welcoming ..until we were about to leave...The breakfast staff were lovely!!
Beds were hard but the mattress was changed on my request which I appreciated!

It is a hotel for meetings and groups. The quality of both breakfast and dinner were not acceptable. The food didn't look (and taste) fresh, and we had the feeling that we got "leftovers" from last days...
Hotel Clarici is just a few steps from the historic centre of Spoleto. Its terraces have panoramic views across the picturesque town. Wi-Fi access is free.
At Hotel Gattapone you will enjoy exclusive views over Spoleto's mediaeval aqueduct and the beautiful valley below. The hotel has its own panoramic gardens, terrace and bar.

I'd stayed here before, several years ago, and always wanted to return. The location is beautiful, with fantastic views across the gorge to Monteluco (and the Ponte delle Torri spanning it). This time we had an even better room (we were kindly upgraded to a superior room), spacious and stylishly decorated with a huge window. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the common spaces were lovely and the breakfast was very good. We hope to go back. I wouldn't choose to stay anywhere else in Spoleto.
Albergo Ristorante Ferretti has a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in Monteluco. This 2-star hotel features free WiFi and a bar. The hotel features family rooms.

These people were such kind and wonderful hosts. They made us a fabulous pot of latte coffees and snacks after hiking up the mountain. It's an oasis at the top, right beside the monastery. Delicious restaurant.

It's a beautiful little hill town with a nice central square, good cafés and restaurants, very limited shopping, and a truffle museum! Very up and down so visitors need to be prepared to walk a lot but the views from high up are worth it. There's a rafting/kayaking outfit on the river, and play park with zip wires and tree walks up in Valcasana which looks good, and a municipal swimming pool. Near (by car) to some other very beautiful hill towns and there are good walks and cycle ways locally too.

We loved this place! Location is perfect, very close to the Nera river, the town Scheggino and many attractions. Immersed in the green, a great place to relax. The food is great: in addition to breakfast they offer delicious lunch (additional) which is a buffet with lots of healthy options. A special mention to the hospitality of the staff. They were extremely nice and helped us with everything. It was great meeting Roberta, Alberino and the rest of the team. We’ll definitely come back!
Beautiful hotel, such lovely and friendly staff. So scenic above a medieval village. Amazing breakfast . We thought there’s an outdoor pool, which there was not, but we used the spa instead (35 euros pp) which was royal and totally worth it.
