The hotel was immaculately clean and well maintained. The room was spacious and comfortable with a big bathroom. We had a balcony which was lovely to sit on in the early evening.
We had a hire car which we were able to park for free on the street outside. Not sure how easy this would be in peak season.

I liked the pictures of the resort before booking which gave off different feeling than what it actually was, but the resort was kept clean, also both swimming pools had very clear water and grass was mowed, lots of beautiful plants in the garden

Room was right outside next an extremely quiet pool. The breakfast was amazing! Location is great, 10 minutes walk to the beach on foot, and you can get on the shuttle to see other beaches.
The staff was so welcoming! Owner was really nice and extremely helpful all throughout our stay, she made us feel like we're at home.
You also got a discount for the restaurant next door which also had fantastic food!

Location was superb right in the centre of Villasimius.
We were able to park for free just 5 mins walk from hotel.
Room was superb with bed very comfy.
Breakfast selection had to be ordered night before, but list of options was extensive and no limits on amount selected.
We eat at Sardus restaurant nearby, delicious Focaccia sandwiches with roast potatoes. Dessert very good as well!
Antonino at reception was very friendly and helpful providing lots of local advice.

The hotel is beautiful. My first impression is colorful and alot of art everywhere. I liked to walk around and enjoy their arts. My room has a balcony at a corner with sea and mountain view. I am really happy with my balcony. The bed is very comfortable but there are no facilities and material in the room to make myself a cup of tea nor coffee. No snacks but only a few bottles of water in the fridge. Room was cleaned everyday. There are shampoo , shower gel and body lotion provided in the bathroom with Sardinian fragrant.
Breakfast is served from 8am to 10:30am. For me it's basic but enough. The waiters and waitress work hard to keep everyone happy and efficient. Somedays we can sit inside, someday we can only sit outside.
Facilities is limited. A small pool with 2 levels and the pool sunbed area is small.
It has a nice, cozy garden full of nice plants. I was there in Octorber so there are not so many flowers . I believed that in April, May , June, July will be alot more flowers blossoming. There are alot of sunbeds in every corner in the garden on the grass with a very nice view of the beach and sea. I love the long soft sand beach right in front of the hotel. The sunsets is super there. One thing is that guests cannot order any food nor drinks on the beach which is the first time for me...
Unfortunately, 3 boat excursions which I booked were all cancelled due to bad weather during my time. Abit dissapointing because it is a special trip for me. Half of my trip had not so good weather. A place like this, there is not much to do when the weather is bad. I tried to book other inland tours but no success.
The hotel is walking distance to town and other beaches. If you are not a walker, you can always take a taxi. It costs 15 euros one way to town or to another beach. I went to Porto Giunco, a nice cozy smaller beach on the other side which is not far from Stella Maris.

Our stay at the Pullman Almar hotel was absolutely fantastic! The staff were extremely accommodating and very friendly, the room we stayed in was extremely clean with a comfy bed and great amenities, the pool / pool bar and restaurant were great, and the short trip to the beach was well worth it for the free sun beds and gorgeous setting. The complimentary breakfast spread was also brilliant, with a range of foods / drinks of high quality to tick the box for everyone's needs.

In front of water, spacious rooms, lovely beach restaurant
Actually we didn't like a lot of things in all Sardegna...
Actually we didn't like a lot of things in all Sardegna island but not only on that beach:
- very big difference between expectation and reality
- absolutely everything is unreasonably expensive - EVEN IN OCTOBER
- delicious Italian food in restaurants is a myth and very expensive
- there's nothing to see on the island.
- No normal attractions
- The capital, Cagliari, also has nothing interesting to see.
- The island is dirty, garbage in bags is dumped on the roadsides.
- There are reeds all over the island.
- In short, if you want tasty seafood, music, delicious food, nomal service and prices - go to Spain. Or better still, go to Tenerife.
I categorically do not recommend you to rest in Sardinia.

It's a pity that all 3 boats excursions were cancelled during my stay due to bad weather. Too long with bad weather. If I could have done all my excursions, the planned length of time would be perfect. Check the weather, it can be very windy on Sardinia island. It's not always nice and sunny like in the postcards.
The village/town is simple and small. It has some good restaurants. Walking distance or easy by taxi to beaches in the area if you don't drive.
Beautiful beaches in this area. Quite a few hiking trails.
La Vela is a very good restaurant.
I have heard that Sa Takkita is good but need to book a table in advance because it's very popular.
Good ice cream shops in town.
A good Foccasia small place in town with quite a few choices of crazy ingredients for foccasia.
When you need a taxi, you need to call.

Don't go to Villasimius if you are looking for an old town with character, a good choice of trattorie, or deserted beaches.
However, if you just want a beach holiday, it offers nice beaches and crystal clear sea

we stayed in Villasimius for 11 nights in an apartment with a short walk to the centre of town, we visited in the beginning of September, very lively town with lots of restaurants to choose from, we love doing activities on our holidays, important to note that the beaches are protected as a natural resource so there is no water sports such as banana boats, paragliding etc, but there is SUP and plenty of boat trips, we did the glass bottom boat, and hired a boat for the day which was amazing we also went on a QUAD experience for 3 hours which was the best fun and a great experience, and there is a water park called Diverland about a 40 min drive from Villasimius

Very nice little town, the Italian vibe is so sparkly there!
Very nice little town, the Italian vibe is so sparkly there! We enjoyed every day, cause it is beautiful, and there are so many good restaurants and gelaterias.
The only one thing which was not so good, that the Simius beach is around 2 km far from the center, and if you have no rented scooter/bike/auto, it is pretty hard to walk down there in 35 degrees and up back after a long day. I saw a kind of mini taxi a few times (tuk-tuk), but it was not available when we were on our way to the beach. A vehicle is needed to enjoy the holiday there!

Small cosy town with many restaurants and some shops.
Small cosy town with many restaurants and some shops. Close to very beautiful beaches. A bit more expensive compared to Cagliari. Would recommend visiting! We split our 7 days in Sardinia between Villasimius and Cagliari - which was a good set up for us.

The small hotel is so so nice! We traveled the east coast of Sardinia & this was by far our favorite place to stay & we wished we could stay longer! The staff war so heart warming & extremely friendly & open. The room was spacious & clean. Sweet pool with a little bar opened in the afternoon with good drinks. Everything was really perfect ♥️
The property have everything that we needed, was clean, comfortable, spacious, beautiful views from balcony looking over garden and mountains. Evening sun on balcony. 5-10 mins walk to nearest restaurant 15-20 mins walk to town centre with lots of bars/ shops/ restaurants. 10 mins drive to nearest beach.
Very friendly host, exceptional location close to the beach and town centre. Apartment had everything we needed. Was a shame to leave when we did as wanted to stay longer. Would definitely come back and stay here if visiting Villasimius again!
The hotel is in a great location - about 20 min walk to beach and a few mins to the centre of town. Very clean and comfortable rooms, delicious breakfast and an amazing host.
Nice hotel in Villasimius Sardegna, at walking distance to the beach and city center. Giulia at reception is very helpful and provides support to any request.
