The S Hotel and all the staff are amazing, we had such a wonderful time. The location is perfect, 5 minutes from the airport and set on a sandy beach, no problems getting a sun bed. All the staff are wonderful, we went on the history tour of the property and joined in with everything around the pool, the animation team were wonderful and truly skilled at encouraging every one to join in. We booked the A La Cart themed restaurants, the week before we arrived. They were all excellent and were lucky enough to be waited on by Glenora, who was so friendly and efficient. I would highly recommend this hotel and hope to return, it was a very special and wonderful holiday.

The beaches are gorgeous, although the free public ones have some noticeable trash. Locals are fun, food is great. There were some fabulous dance parties if you can make it up past midnight. I did find the men excessively aggressive when I walked alone in the Hip Strip tourist area, and I'm in 40s. I'm a very confident solo traveler and that part bothered me a lot and scared me once.

We really enjoyed our stay in Montego Bay.
We really enjoyed our stay in Montego Bay. It was the perfect location for us to explore and take part in various activities. We drove about two hours to Dunn's River Falls near Ocho Rios, where we climbed the beautiful cascading falls. Another two-hour drive took us to Negril, where we enjoyed the stunning Seven Mile Beach and visited the famous Rick’s Café.
We also went to Rocklands Bird Sanctuary to feed hummingbirds. Though the place is small and the road leading there is rough, the experience was truly unique—it was one of my favorite parts of the trip.
Additionally, we took a 30-minute drive to Chukka Ocean Outpost at Sandy Bay for horseback riding and swimming. There are plenty of other activities to enjoy, such as sailing, zip-lining, and ATV tours. It’s a fantastic place to spend a full day.
Jamaican food is the best in the Caribbean! The oxtail was excellent, and we loved the goat curry and jerk chicken—all were delicious.

Staff is rude unprofessional and verging on thieves.

Im so shocked by everything. The 3hour wait to be checked in, to them checking me in but the next day claim my payment never processed, even though booking.com too my card info. They refused to take a virtual card but would take apple pay? When I refused, they told me they would accept it my virtual card, I paid again. later same day I go to back made sure everything was fine. Two days later when I went to check out they said nothing went thru my card declined and they needed payment. Mind you this was at the end of my trip, they pretty much hold you hostage, I should them proof my other caed went thru but they wouldnt allow me to leave till i slide my card. Ive never been treated so poorly and unprofessionally, I never been to a hotel that allows you to complete your entire stay and then tell you they need payment. I will be disputing it, but the whole establishment is scary. It looks like a complete 180 from the pictures on the website. I will never go back or recommend Jamaica to anyone.

Everything was excellent, the location of the hotel right on the beach excellent. Great view of the sea from the room window (it is better to have a room on the upper floors). It is a 1800m walk from the airport, you can walk without luggage (the taxi driver charged 20 USD !!!). Hotel beach OK, sea clean. A fridge in the room with drinks included in the price, which were replenished. Food in the restaurant is free to choose from - self-service.
Picked this hotel quickly after a long drive. The receptionist was lovely and check in was quick.
The room was basic and pleasant. Very clean and tidy. It was equipped with a fridge, TV and air conditioning.
Excellent location across from the sea. (Dead end) Of Montego Bay.
Ate at Wings and Tings nearby.
The apartment was a good size.
Bedroom had a very firm yet comfortable bed and a/c worked great.
View from balcony was wonderful.
Refresh of towels and linen half way through visit was nice.
Experiencing Jamaica outside of an all inclusive for the first time was a delightful time.
