This place is an absolute treasure. Perched amid lush gardens on a working farm, the setting is nothing short of breathtaking, with panoramic views that made us pause every time we looked out. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by the owner, who offered us freshly picked fruit straight from the farm—an incredibly personal and generous touch.
He also gave us a fantastic tour of his small-batch, chemical-free coffee operation, which was both fascinating and inspiring. Naturally, we left with two bags of his delicious coffee!
We had the entire house to ourselves and spent hours tucked into the cozy window nook, reading while the rain gently fell outside. Hummingbirds fluttered by, and we even spotted a few curious mongooses—magical moments we won’t forget.
There are a couple of great local eateries in the nearby town that happily deliver right to your door, making it easy to enjoy amazing food without leaving the peace and quiet.
This stay made our whole trip to Jamaica truly special. We only wish we could’ve stayed longer—but we’ll absolutely be back.

It took 150 snaps with my iPhone to feel I did justice to the flora of Prince Valley. As verdant and varying as a tropical paradise is expected to be. The view from the covered patio extends over the more than 180 degree opposing skyline. Small birds flitting. Flowers in full bloom. All I imagined plus the generosity of my hosts Ruth and Bobby.

What an incredible location! The property sits right next to a lush, jungle-like ravine with a stream that flows constantly—its soothing sound created the perfect natural soundtrack to our stay. We spent a magical hour rock-hopping through the river canyon, completely immersed in nature. It honestly felt like we’d stumbled into a scene from Jurassic Park!
The host was warm and welcoming, and the building itself was clean, modern, and thoughtfully designed, with plenty of aesthetic touches that made it feel both stylish and serene.
It was also very conveniently located for an early-morning airport run. Free of traffic - it took less than 45 minutes.
